Realize loss or sit it out?

Hello everyone,

At the end of last year, unfortunately due to a lack of knowledge and too much trust in family members, I bought a total of €190 worth of shares in $NTMC (-11.05%) shares. Well, from the purchase price (€1.20 per share) to now (approx. €0.40 per share), it has gone down quite rapidly, as I had too little information about the share.

What do you say, should I sit it out or sell the rest of the shares and put them into my ETF savings plan next month, for example?

Portfolio feedback

I wanted to give you my first portfolio feedback ...

So, I'm 16 years old and I started investing because I want to put money aside for my car, family and property as early as possible to make it easier for myself later on. And, of course, because I'm interested in business and can learn something new through this little hobby. I'm not yet sure exactly how I'll use the money later on, but even without a rock-solid goal, it seems very sensible to save money that I don't want to touch for the time being.

At the moment, the main focus is my savings plan with Deutsche Bank, as I still have relatively little experience with shares, etc., and am therefore focusing on ETFs with less risk. I want to build up a foundation first, as I can always invest in individual shares later and don't want to "gamble away" everything in my early years.

My portfolio currently consists of 2 ETFs and one share. $XDWD (+1.02%) I save €50 per month, $RBOT (+0.83%) with €15 and finally $NVDA (-2.33%) with 35€. I chose the highest weighting for the MSCI World because it is the least risky, Automation & Robotics because I find this area very interesting and see a future there and Nvidia because I am also interested in computers. However, I plan to invest 25% in both A&R and Nvidia in the future, or a little less in Nvidia, as this is a share and I want to avoid some risk here.

I have also bought $NTMC (-11.05%) shares, as I see a good future there with regard to the increasing demand for rare earths, but I have to admit that I probably didn't inform myself enough, but as you know, you learn from that :)

In the future, I don't really want to change much in terms of asset composition, but would like to look at shares here and there and continue to expand my savings plan, possibly with a higher savings rate.

I've also already put aside a small "nest egg" and have the money in a call money account, which at least earns interest at around 3.8%, because it's important to me to be able to access a little money immediately.

$NOM Hey guys, check out Nordic Mining. The company has been around since 2003, so it has a lot of experience and shows some security as a penny stock. It also has good holdings in other companies. It certainly can't hurt to invest some dividends in the penny stock.
