That's why I let my derivative run!

Despite production cuts in the Middle East, there are still very good prospects for$TTE (+0.64%)

The French have the lowest production costs of the five major western oil producers (which also include Exxon, Chevron, BP and Shell). In addition, the company is very well positioned in renewable energies, which are also benefiting indirectly from the sharp rise in oil and gas prices.

Team $AKRBP. Production costs of 6-7$/barrel! That is the market leader in the western world. Only on the Arabian Peninsula is production cheaper.đŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™‚ïž

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin absolutely great place, was too expensive for me at the end of 23 and I opted for $VAR and forgot it on the watchlist đŸ˜Ș

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin I just checked and they are (as of last count) at 7-8$ per barrel, which is really great.

$VAR was ~$10 in Q4 2025 and $11.10 per barrel for the year 2025...

...I also think that's completely ok

Last year, I decided to invest in $EOG because it had the lowest lifting costs and a very good breakeven point; furthermore, its growth is/was among the strongest in the sector, though the dividend is on the “lower” side.
$AKRBP I hadn’t even considered them yet, but they’re also very efficient in terms of lifting, and their breakeven point is actually even slightly better—plus, they offer an attractive dividend.

I actually wanted to pick up a little more oil, but I was too late—now I’m waiting for now, but Aker is going on my watchlist; it fits pretty well since it’s not a U.S. company and has a good dividend.

$TTE Their lifting costs are relatively high, but they make up for it in other ways; however, they’re already well behind $EOG $AKRBP —probably on roughly the same level as heavyweights like $CVX and $XOM

@Stocktective I don't want to hold it as a long-term dividend stock. I would find a few 100% with the derivative completely sufficient😂

My choice was $CNQ . I loaded as many as I can afford 5 months ago. From what I read their break even oil price is around 35$-40$. The downside is that they have 15% withholding dividend tax.

I have also invested in $TTE and in $COP. Do you think it would make sense to switch COP to TTE. Please give me your opinion? Lg

@fund_manager_2787 I can't tell you, but I think $TTE is cheaper. Technically, they both look good. $TTE broke through €73 today. If they close above that, I could also imagine €80. You might also take another look at $AKRBP, which has already been mentioned here
