First of all: congratulations on the upcoming fatherhood. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the run-up, that will be the end of it for now. What I would be interested in is the explanation of the principle according to which you sold your shares and how you got into the ETFs. Blindly selling all your shares at the same time and putting the money directly into the ETFs probably wasn't it.

@Chefkoch256 it was actually a process. First bought wildly, then sold wildly 😅. Then at some point something with a system. So what do I want to achieve with shares? Which shares do I need to achieve this? Everything that no longer fit into the strategy was then also sold directly.

@DonkeyInvestor i.e. without much technical or fundamental analysis, but only when changing strategy. would you have sold several stocks at once to make the switch directly? did you then buy the ETFs with the money as a one-time investment, or did you increase your savings plan rate?

@Chefkoch256 FA did, TA did not. When something no longer fit the strategy, it was sold. If that was 10 shares at a time, then it was 10 at a time. It was then also directly reinvested. Either in ETF or earlier if necessary also in other shares that fit into the strategy.
