Had less than 10 shares and now?

$1211 (-1.95%)

Hello everyone,

I had a 50€ savings plan running and was at 8.x shares - unfortunately I didn't notice the split.

I increased it to 10 this morning - that was probably too late.

So does that mean the approx. 250€ is gone?

Or do I at least get 24 plus the 2 from today = 26 €?

does anyone know?

Each full 10 shares and, as always, the close of trading before the EX day applies.

That sounds absolutely plausible to me that the close will be taken before EX day. I just got in this morning and am now wondering why Trade Rep. is still showing me the message that the additional shares will be credited to me on 29.7. Perhaps this is generally switched on for everyone who holds some, or there are other criteria. In any case, I bought mine at 9:11 am today.

@PeterUle keep both fingers crossed 👍🏻👍🏻

@SAUgut77 The ex-day was 10.06., so what counts is what was in the depot on 09.06. in the evening, right? That's also the information I got from the BYD documents.
ING sent a letter around today saying that only the shares that were in the securities account at the end of June 6th will be taken into account. But that's wrong, isn't it?

@Kunglao from my gut I would agree with you, but I think the topic was discussed quite well in another post.
@SAUgut77 Update: just received a message from ING after I called their support: "New" cut-off date is 09.06. at the German stock exchange close. So all good, at least for me 🤣

I had the 10 shares but because it's so cheap today (15 euros) I bought another 10. I would also be interested to know if that still counts. I'm not familiar with it either as I'm still fairly new to the stock market.

@market_maestro_1778 Are you aware that the share was split, i.e. it is now worth the same at €15 as it was at €40 before?

@Emil_Invest Unfortunately, the way he has written it, he is probably not aware of it.

@Joris I think so too

@market_maestro_1778 I really don't understand why, when you say you don't know your way around and are new, you buy more so quickly without knowing what will happen?
Buying on the day of the extra day is of little use.

The strange split is an interesting thing in itself. Those who don't have exactly 10 pieces or more seem to go away empty-handed. I have no idea.
Yes, that was an expensive lesson :(
@value_hunter_1749 well. What is an extag that you no longer need to buy for a maximum training fee of 9*45/2 euros is ok in itself. You make that mistake at some point.

I had 15 stocks. Last purchase date is last month.. Still it's 15 stocks in Scalable Capital. I hope it will be updated by tomorrow.
@Madhatter5566 I had 15 and I bought 15 extra yesterday 9th of June, will that still make it?
@serkeftin As far as I understand it, yes. Cumtag was yesterday, extag is today. Record date tomorrow. So it should work for you.

I simply believe that these 10 share packages have something to do with the fact that it is common in Asia to sell shares to employees in packages of 10. The dividend is also stated per 10 shares. So my guess is that these are the shares traded in HK. As far as I know, there are also minimum trading volumes there. All others are then simply adjusted. In other words, you will receive 1.2 new shares and 0.8 bonus shares per share.
Ok, thank you - I already thought that it couldn't just be gone

@value_hunter_1749 Of course, all information without guarantee 😀

Getquin worked well, only DKB hasn't adjusted it yet. I'm still 66% in the red 😂
Getquin has turned 140 shares into 208 for me. That would be a bitter loss?
