As I assume that very few of you are familiar $TPL (+0.95%) I would like to briefly introduce the share and why it could be interesting right now.
TPL is one of the largest private landowners - as the name suggests - in Texas. It is also located in the Permian Basin with a lot of oil and natural gas.
TPL's main source of income is royalties and lease payments. ExxonMobil, Occidental Petroleum and Chevron are active on TPL's land.
But now another source of income could be added. TPL has entered into a strategic partnership with Bolt Data & Energy. Bolt is headed by Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google.
The goal: to develop large-scale data center campuses on TPL's land that are specifically tailored to the requirements of AI workloads.
TPL can provide land & energy as well as water for cooling the servers.
So if you want to make money on data centers, AI, etc. but don't want to invest in more tech stocks, Texas Pacific Land Corp. is the place to be.
I would love to hear your opinion.
PS. I am already invested.
