Finally decided to try MSTY as a European

Any Europeans in MSTY yet? Decided to add it to my portfolio and DRIP it when NAV dips below my average purchase price, or use the distributions for longterm safer dividend growth ETF's. Currently it's 10% (150 shares) of my portfolio. Might increase it to 15% when dripping at good price as time goes on.

Just thinking of MSTY at the moment, Looking to try a small(ish) test amount to see how it performs over the next 6 months (being tied to bitcoin has me a little worried over the next full year). I was thinking the same, to reinvest when needed to preserve the NAV. Should be interesting. Good luck to you.

@Merlin-1 I think DRIP'ing the distributions into other safer investments would at least mitigate losing all the money you put in MSTY. Hopefully it only takes a bit to keep up with the NAV so we can use the distributions freely for other purposes. But as you said, only time will tell. Good luck!

Long term you will end up in losses. It’s not the monthly return u get rather the total return that matters which is negative for last six months.

@Martin_b the problem with MSTY EU is the withholding tax of 30%, the distribution yield is 30% less than the USA version and this destroy total return long term.
