The Meta stock ($META (-1.11%)) may be hitting a snag after an impressive 20-day winning streak. On Tuesday, the price fell to about $708.21, representing a decline of 3.86% compared to Friday's close. ๐ข Despite the drop, the price has increased by around 20% since mid-January, thanks to promising prospects in the AI sector.
Currently, Meta has a market capitalization of nearly $1.9 trillion, bringing it closer to Google's parent company Alphabet (about $2.3 trillion). CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently reaffirmed the AI ambitions and plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in AI infrastructure. His goal: An AI assistant that reaches more than a billion people.
