Interesting development on the African & Latin American markets, which have now broken through the downward trend and are now trying to break out further upwards. Now it depends on the USD whether it continues to support this. If the DXY falls below the trend line, this would be a very positive sign for EM. A weak dollar lowers the financing costs for EM, drives commodity prices (as can be seen at the moment) and promotes capital inflows. This means that a falling dollar is the most important external catalyst for $AFK (-2.8%) & $ILF (-1.76%).
