Shareholder Benefits Report

Today, $SIX2 (-2.03%) has been added to my portfolio.

Normally, this company doesn’t fit into my portfolio at all, since I’ve decided to focus solely on ETFs, high-quality large- and mega-cap stocks, and a few satellite holdings to expand, such as gold and @Epi certificates.

But after reading about the shareholder benefit/discount several times, I ended up adding 25 shares to my portfolio because I wanted to rent a car for a vacation. I was able to activate the discount extremely quickly and easily with a receipt and a simple email to customer service.

The rental fee of about €80 for the vehicle will then be paid out to me next year almost exactly as a gross dividend. Hopefully, there will also be a few capital gains on top of that.

Do you hold shares in companies that offer similar benefits, such as $UHR (+0.22%)
$SIX2 (-2.03%) ? What have been your experiences in this regard?

I've held a $UHR share for some time now and receive a Swatch shareholder watch every year.

I give each one to my grandson 😁

@aaron_a13 That's really cool! Can I ask if you're Swiss? I read that Swatch only ships within Switzerland, and I'm wondering if that's true? 😄

@SaltyMainDD Yes, that's correct—I'm Swiss. The shareholder gift will only be sent to a Swiss address.

What are the shareholder benefits at Sixt?

@Epi You get Platinum status right away and up to a 20 percent discount—which I can confirm for now.
Plus, it seems you can get free vehicle upgrades. So if you use SIXT often, you could save a few euros and invest them in your certificate instead 😄😉

@SaltyMainDD Ah, thanks! Since I don't own a car myself—I rent one—that might be interesting. But I usually end up going with budget rental companies. Sixt is kind of on the expensive side.

@Epi You're welcome 😊 Yeah, that's true—but so far, I've had better experiences with Sixt. The cheap ones always seemed to try to rip me off 😆

@SaltyMainDD Yeah, you have to be careful with budget airlines. If you know their tricks, it actually works out pretty well.

I'm invested because of the business model and outlook.

Does anyone know how many shares of $SIX2 you need to hold to qualify for the benefits?

@ChrisBizz Just one is enough for that 🤗

@SaltyMainDD Dankeschön! 👍🏻
It would feel like being at a carnival. Want that teddy bear? All you have to do is buy 100 tickets.

@Musikerie Actually, just one is enough to get the discount 😆 but I see your point

@SaltyMainDD I'd think about it, too; so far, I've always used my family members' ADAC discounts.
