I want to make myself less dependent on the USA, so I'm giving Europe a try.

Had the same thought recently - but buying at such a high level can make faces long at some point, can't it? Better to invest in what is currently undervalued, however unpleasant the USA may be for me at the moment.

@_EvD_ It is certainly not wrong to have Europe in the portfolio.

On the subject of valuation:
The iShares Core MSCI Europe ETF has a price/earnings ratio (P/E ratio) of 17.62.
In comparison, the P/E ratio of the S&P 500 Index is 25.54.

Europe is closer to the historical valuation average than the USA.

@BigMo Thank you. I would personally find the ratio of Core World to Europe more exciting in comparison. I would be more interested in ex-US vs. US for the coming months 🙂

@BigMo Where can you see the P/E ratio of ETFs?
