Question about dividends

Hi zamme

Do you think it's worth saving for a colleague at all?

Compared to what is the question? 🤷‍♂️

...is definitely better than putting the money under your pillow.

But there are plenty of "better" ETFs among the 1,700 or so to choose from - at least if you ask me (and you did ask me 😉).

Greetings

@Stullen-Portfolio thanks for your comment 😊 what do you think would be a better option?

I've just seen that you've already found a better one yourself and have it in your depot ✌️💫

For me, I have combined a total of 8 (better) ETFs, whereby the individual ETFs take on different "tasks"...but it is very individual and therefore rather special, so it is perfect for me but not necessarily suitable for everyone.

@Stullen-Portfolio ok in itself would the FSTE All World be long enough or ?

You can come to that conclusion, yes. Generally speaking, it would be very sensible.

@mitkeinemplanzumkapital It's hard to find a better one than $VHYL. It is actually one of the best of its kind. It always depends on what you want to achieve with the ETF. If you are looking for cash flow then it is a good choice. But if you're looking for growth/asset accumulation, then it's better to go in the direction of an MSCI World, FTSE AllWorld or S&P500 ETF. As I said, the choice of ETF depends on your investment strategy. What is good for one strategy may be a bad choice for another.

Is this a new GQ account or have you deleted old posts? The name sounds familiar, haven't I advised ETF before?

@Thanos01 yes indeed, I got caught haha. I think I only do ETFs now. I've tried a lot of things and have now realized that it's the best haha 🤝

To the question: If you let your 2 savings plans run now, that will be something, keep it up

@Thanos01 perfect thank you 😊

Take the normal All World. High Dividend hurts performance

@Psychedelic_Sunflower all right 👌🏻 then I'll switch the share in the High Dividend to the All World on Monday thanks to you!

There are always better and worse ETFs, but the question is rather what your individual strategy is.

@BurhanAbi Long-term and without stress 😌😊

My portfolio is doing well with it as the largest position. Of course, sometimes (currently mostly) the normal FTSE all world performs better, but who says it will stay that way forever 🤷

@EisenEnte With Helmut (Waikiki5800 on insta) you can always see nice graphics and comparisons over a long period of time. So not just 10 years. And in the long term, value has probably always been better than growth.

@EisenEnte You're absolutely right that no one can say... unless we activate the magic crystal ball 🔮 haha
