I think I'll have to pay for a round

I am on getquin today, unsuspecting, and see NVIDIA up 4 percent. And so - for the first time - my portfolio jumps over the magic one million mark.

It's quite clear that - even as I write these lines - the worst crash of all time will now follow, of course, but nobody will take this moment away from me ... :-D

Seriously: Awesome shit - I'm a bit proud, if I may say so myself.

But such a portfolio would be absolutely nothing for me. 70% NVIDIA. So you are completely dependent on one share. Especially if you already have so much money, you can take out risk and maybe put some of it in ETFS to control it a bit.

In the worst case, the €285,121.94 you won with Nvidia is gone just as quickly as it was there.

@Snopy Of course there is risk. Even more than the 285K.

The fact that NVIDIA has become such a big chunk is also due to the fact that they have grown so much. But okay, they would still be "too big".

Why I'm not currently thinking about switching: Because I'm convinced, based on everything I know, hear and read about the company, that NVIDIA is still dirt cheap for their figures and forecast.

Can that go up in smoke in no time with a new invention? Possibly. But I think it's very, very unlikely.

I sleep very well.

@MaxtheCat Yes, it was a bit of a rollercoaster in the spring. But selling was out of the question. At no time. On the contrary, I bought more at 80 euros, even if only 100 shares.
