Some see Pfizer ($PFE) (+1.72%) as the root of all evil… whatever the case may be… the dividend is nice 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hmm, I’ve held onto a lot of shares for a long time. I’ll be selling them soon, though, since the USD/EUR exchange rate has caused the dividend yield to drop by 15%.
Back then, I expected a slight rise + dividends.
Now: a slight decline—the dividend yield is lower than overnight money market rates 🤔

@Smudeo PFE is also one of my oldest holdings. I mean, there are plenty of other pharmaceutical stocks you could buy instead, such as $MRK or $ABBV... which offer significantly higher dividends. The dividends I’ve received from Pfizer will soon offset the price losses on my position... then I’ll be at breakeven and hope that new blockbusters will come along soon. Many drugs are currently in Phase 3, and at Pfizer, a wave of blockbusters comes around once every decade or so😷

@Dividendenopi They alter your DNA through vaccinations, but some of them are placebos. That explains the high success rate. 😅

I see $PFE as solid business with a good entry opportunity. the recent "net loss" was a temporary, non-cash event masking 9% operational growth. that 6.7% yield is paired with an attractive 8.6x forward p/e.
Cheers on the dividends!
