@GoDividend 🥴 Unfortunately, I have not yet had the time to familiarize myself with individual stocks... but maybe it will come.

At least I have now started with Japanese chocolate specialties 🤣...Royce is unfortunately not on the stock exchange, otherwise that would be my favorite.

Why overweight? Japan has catastrophic demographics and numerous structural problems. 🧐 Of course, there are a few very good individual stocks.

@DollarDon If it were up to demographics or structural problems, then I would have to withdraw from many markets. But yes, as in many regions, Japan is also a problem, you're right! I would like to weight the current just under 7% from my FTSE Dev World a bit more. Otherwise I have no Japanese individual stocks, but the real reason is the chocolate souvenir from Japan, that was just too good not to invest there...😉

In line with the "hype" Trade Republic now has some new Japan stocks in the savings plan offer. So far I had only a small part invested in the Nikkei 225 as an ETF (yes, am aware of the strange structure of the index 😂). Am now strongly considering whether I Itochu $8001 (what else 😂) by savings plan include in the depot. In addition, I am still looking for a second value and have Keyence $6861 strongly in focus.

@Mister_ultra I also thought about starting with individual stocks, but the top 15 positions of the ETF include almost all the individual stocks that are discussed here from time to time, and these top 15 currently account for a total of 25.36% of the ETF volume - so I decided to take the more convenient route.

@TomTurboInvest Personally, I am a big fan of individual stocks, so I usually pick 1-2 individual stocks (for Japan, potential candidates would be Itochu, Keyence, KDDI or Sony).
