For real...
Thought at first for an entry around 75 euros.
But at this rate....
I truly believe that in the long run $WKL 's business model needs to be shaken up, but the moat they have will remain for the next 5-10 years.
I really don't see hospitals/lawyers requesting unverified information from our friends at chat gpt anytime soon 🫠

@Tomtom12 I actually see it differently. I actually see AI as a threat to their business model as it currently stands. Wolters Kluwer is the prime example of a software and database provider with a subscription model.

No, no, no. The thesis "AI is destroying Wolters Kluwer" is exaggerated and wrong because:
Wolters Kluwer is actively using AI, not ignoring it.
AI improves the products instead of replacing them.
The company is financially stable.
Customers pay for expertise + data that AI alone cannot replace.
Analysts continue to rate the company positively, not as a total failure.

@Tomtom12 There's no point in stamping your foot and insisting that you're smarter than the market. 🙄
All software providers that have subscription models will face challenges. Software databases like Wolters Kluwer's will no longer be ordered per workstation in the next few years, but they will subscribe to the database once and develop their own AI agent that accesses the database and prepares it accordingly for each application.
I attended an event a few days ago that dealt with exactly these kinds of topics, what the world of work with AI will look like in 3-5 years.

I see an adjustment to the pricing models rather than the abolition of the business."
