2 year anniversary

Hello dear community,

With a slight delay, I would like to present my portfolio to you on my second anniversary as an investor. I know it's not much, but it's a big milestone for me personally.

I come from a family with little money and little understanding of wealth accumulation. The rule here was if you work and save for a long time, you'll be able to afford something at some point. My parents are divorced, the house was foreclosed on - so any inheritance is gone too. So I came from virtually nothing and also started with 0.

& that's not bad either!

It gave me the motivation I needed to make more of myself and my money. Financial education is never a mistake.

In addition to my portfolio, which I built up, I also had to build up a nest egg because I didn't have one (currently: 10k).

After a lot of mistakes, unnecessary purchases, losses when selling, impatience and too little foresight - I have now arrived at my strategy, which is quite justifiable for me. I have been inspired by some of the portfolios here.

I follow a dividend strategy with ETFs (yes, I am aware that the accumulating variant is probably better), but it's just nice for the head when you see that you get something back for your money.

The strategy is as follows:

$VWRL (-0.34%) 60%

$FGEQ (+0.01%) 15%

$TDIV (+0.48%) 15%

$IGLN (+0.55%) 10%

The split is not quite there yet, but I'm working towards it. The $TDIV (+0.48%) is great because of its country breakdown, as it reduces the USA share while increasing the EU share. $IGLN (+0.55%) will definitely be increased to 10% to balance out possible fluctuations and bring more calm.

My only problem child is the $FGEQ (+0.01%) which is unfortunately not performing as well as I would like. Maybe someone from the community has a good alternative for this. :)

Thanks for reading and thanks for the daily great contributions of this community to give people free access to financial education, news and community.

Stay clean and have a great weekend.

I think the depot is very nice, to be honest I wouldn't change the layout that much and just let time work for you.

I also liked your text. I keep coming across people who have never dealt with their finances before. But that's the key to more financial serenity and later financial independence. It's not that difficult if you understand a few basic things and take small, disciplined steps over a longer period of time.

Good luck 😉

@TechNav well recognized 👍🏻

@TechNav It also sounded familiar to me, let's hope that the strategy takes us a long way. In any case, I will remain invested in Fidelity for the time being. But I'm still looking for a suitable alpha (e.g. Nasdaq)

@Kundenservice Why can't I see his TTWROR when I'm logged in, but I can in the private window (i.e. when I'm not logged in)? I get premium features when I am a guest?

@100erHebel let me know, I would be interested too :D

@flowriii So your TTWROR is -22.82 % for me
I think it's great that you're working your way up, but you'd better think again about accumulating ETFs if your horizon is still long 😉
Bitcoin must go in

Your portfolio is tidy and well organized at the moment. What did you do in 2023, reallocate or rebuild?

If you think the return on $FGEQ is too low, you could replace it with its US brother $FUSD or alternatively with $CSPX.

However, if you don't want to increase your US allocation any further but still want to bet on better performance, the still young and smaller $QDEV could be an option.

@TechNav Unfortunately, I tried too hard in 2023. First back and forth with individual shares, then started from scratch.

Thanks for the inspiration. I'll take a closer look at the alternatives 👍🏻
