Momentum fits.
I doubt whether H5N1 is responsible for this. The stuff has been rampant over there for a year.
It's more likely to be tariffs and environmental problems that are driving up prices.

•@Epi However, H5N1 could still become critical, even if it has already been raging there for some time. At least I think so. I've read that controls on cattle are rather poor and that if there really is an outbreak, it could end in a severe animal pandemic. Of course, I don't want to paint anything on the wall, I just want to consider it. Thanks for your comment in any case. I should also consider other aspects.

@Wollitz The Americans have Trump, that could play into your hands. 😅
Considering his reaction to Covid19, he will first of all insult anyone who names a nationwide epidemic, then anyone who wants to fight it and finally anyone who confronts Trump with the consequences of his denial.
Perfect ground for millions of deaths. 😈

•@Epi hahaha. I'd settle for rising cattle prices 😉 but you're probably not entirely wrong. 🤣
