I think the chances of turning things around have never been better. Next year will show whether the measures are working and whether the new models are catching on in the market.... I'm staying the course and looking forward to seeing what happens.

•@Shareholder I agree. But I’m afraid next year will be a transitional year. For me, it would already be a success if VW stabilizes (in terms of both revenue and operating profit). China will also weigh on the company next year. I think sales there will continue to fall—though perhaps not as sharply. The other regions will have to make up for that for now. But since the stock market always trades on the future, maybe we’ll start to see prices rise slowly starting next year? I’d like that 😂

@Part_Time_Joe Well. I wouldn't go that far. It'll probably take until the 28th for VW's stock price to rise.
I’m expecting things to stabilize next year, though. Before then, I’m afraid we might see €60 again...🙈 But I’d be happy if I’m wrong. I’d also be veeeery happy to see the stock price go up!😂

•@Shareholder Well, I can at least confirm that demand for both the Cupra Raval and the ID.Polo is so high that we can barely keep up with production (currently about a 6-month wait).

•@Da_Fischi I’ve read that, too! On the one hand, it’s obviously good because it shows that the new models are catching on (I think the ID.Polo is really well-designed, too); on the other hand, it’s putting even more pressure on margins. I’d be interested to see how the ID.Tiguan is received. Visually, I think it’s great, but price-wise… that’s quite a jump! Do you know when pre-sales figures are usually announced?

•No, unfortunately not. I can only speak for our plant.
But yes, in Spain, an ID.Polo like that is available starting at €18,000 with a subsidy.

•@Da_Fischi I have to say, I think the ID7 is a really great family car. It seems like a good fit for people with dogs, too. I'm curious to see how it holds up over the long term 😀👍 Maybe I'll switch to VW after all someday 🙃

•@Da_Fischi Thank you very much for the insight. I'd heard something along those lines before, too.
