Industrial sector further increased

This is an area that is clearly underweighted for me, but there are also very few stocks that I see as suitable under my dividend requirements. After some research, I opened a first tranche today in $TDG (+0.84%) today. Yes, I am aware that these are not regular dividend payers, but they are repeatedly doing so well that there will also be a nice payout this year. A few acquisitions have already been made, and unless a mega bargain comes along, they will pass the cash on to the shareholders. And if not, an acquisition will make strategic sense and have a positive impact on the share price performance. I am in good spirits.

the last two years, the special dividend was already extremely good

@Tenbagger2024 Cash flow is still strong, but they are already acting quite borderline with their debt. However, the ratio is still right, so I am confident that there will be another special dividend. The next quarterly figures will provide further information on debt and then I would say it will be decided whether there will be some cash flow in September

@Dividendenopi I think they already know what they're doing. It's not the first takeover in their long history. For me, the company is the Berkshire of aviation. How many companies they now have in their portfolio. They also have quite a moat. I would just like to see some share price performance again

@Tenbagger2024 It's enough for me if they remain stable and pay the special dividend every year 😇. Ok, a bit of a price buffer can't hurt

@Dividendenopi I think you have also just caught a good entry price. The sector is performing, which is why I see the share price rising again in the long term

@Dividendenopi how do you see gold in the long term? do you mean buying more mines?

@Tenbagger2024 I have also been waiting for a while, as this is not liquid at all, I had placed a limit order on the NYSE which was triggered today in 2 partial purchases.

@Tenbagger2024 For me, gold is only physical if I want to buy something. I'm also throwing out my Euwax next week, tax-free. And no, it's not worth taking delivery of the few thousand euros 🤷‍♂️. I have never dealt with mining shares

@Tenbagger2024 @Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin My dear, how do you see the gold mines right now?
••

@Tenbagger2024 To be honest, I haven't been very busy lately, dear.🤷🏼‍♂️ My clear recommendation for miners is always to look out for those with the lowest production costs per ounce. Then you can't go too far wrong in the long term when the gold price falls.

Owning 10 pieces is my long-term goal, so far only 2 in the depot 😁

@Simpson good goal. Of course, the individual price is already expensive if you want to enter step by step. Is there any point in running a savings plan for such stocks, which are fairly illiquid in Germany? I have no experience with this, but I can well imagine that a fractional purchase is even more difficult. Or are there brokers with savings plans on US stock exchanges?

@Dividendenopi Once had them in a savings plan at TR, the price was actually quite fair, but now only targeted individual purchases and whole pieces

@Smudeo have a look in the forum. I had introduced the company once

@Smudeo $TDG is not a chip shop, even if I am skeptical about US stocks, it is backed by a leading aerospace supplier. They are strengthening their position in this area through constant acquisition. Of course this costs money and leads to a corresponding level of debt. But they are doing it really cleverly and strategically. And the acquisition, especially in the aftermarket sector, increases profitability and ensures operating cash flow, which in turn secures their strategy of special dividends. And on the subject of cleverness, take a look at what else they have purchased in addition to valuation services. Highly specialized companies in the field, which are being further expanded and lead to unique selling points. The last few years have seen considerable special distributions, and everything points to the same for this year and the coming years. The return, if it turns out that way, is really great for a company in the industrial sector. I could be wrong, of course, in which case it would be a shame, but in my opinion a real cash monster is developing here with a super dividend yield and that in the industrial sector. @Tenbagger2024 has already left an initial assessment here, so take a closer look at the "company", it could be worthwhile.
