On 19 June 2025, France signed a strategically important framework agreement with Eutelsat Communications for low-orbit satellite services as part of the French NEXUS program. This contract has a volume of up to 1 billion euros and is designed to run for 10 years.
In addition, the French State is increasing its stake in Eutelsat by 1.35 billion euros, making it the largest shareholder in order to secure Eutelsat's long-term strategic vision.
It won't cause any fundamental fireworks, but it probably won't hurt the share price ✌️
