My way to €100,000! Update!

Good morning community!

I've actually never had so many 100 or more percenters in my portfolio at the same time as I do at the moment. Today there are 2 more. One of them is $INOD (+0.31%) .

The other is $USA RareEarth. Which strangely enough never works as a link here at GQ.

This run of success means that I reached the magic mark of 100% YTD this morning.

Please note that this is only a snapshot and could be significantly lower again in 2-3 weeks. The risk I am taking should not be underestimated.

Congratulations on the good hand!
I think it is crucial for you to take as much as possible with you as long as the market harmonizes with your strategy and to make the jump as soon as the harmony is over.

I've been through a phase like yours before (99-00), but didn't make the jump. In the end, I was back on track. 😅

I like your contributions very much and have now added two of your highlights to my portfolio with small positions. I have two more on watch.
I am aware of the risk, but I have become a bit bored with ETFs. Nevertheless, they remain the core of my portfolio.
There are actually two portfolios. The larger one is my wife's, which I look after. I always play it safe there.

@growth_guru_ynrzn In my opinion, you can buy in tranches at $ONDS. Raw materials and, above all, rare earths, still have the real boom ahead of them. $MP $UUUU etc. I don't think you can say that they have run hot just because they have made 100% or more. The drone sector, for example, is easy to compare with AI or $NVDA. It was also hot at 100, 200 and 500% and continues to run despite several 1000%. When an industry is booming, companies grow into high valuations very quickly. You should never underestimate that. I had this attitude with $PLTR, which was already far too expensive for me at 60$. And now I'm watching.

@growth_guru_ynrzn You are safer with $UUUU because they also make uranium. But you can't go wrong with either of them. So I would split the money.

@GeldGenie I can only advise you to stop and be annoyed at having bought so few. I take a very high risk and almost never invest more than 2-3% of my portfolio value. But I have a lot of stocks to manage the risk to some extent. At the moment there are 10 stocks in my portfolio that are up 100% or more. Of course I would have made more profit if I had invested everything in $IREN (350%). But if I had invested everything in $INOD, I would be worse off now. So I better try to find as many doublers as possible. At least that's my strategy.

A small addition to the sharp rise in USA Rare Earth

Investing.com -- Shares of USA Rare Earth surged 14% Friday morning following reports that the company has been in close communication with the Trump administration.

The jump in share price followed a CNBC report that the company was keeping the incoming administration in the loop about its plans. When asked about potential government partnerships, Barbara Humpton, Chief Executive Officer of USA Rare Earth, told CNBC: "What we're doing is keeping the government informed of our own plans."

The Trump administration has taken stakes in other companies in the critical minerals sector in the past, including rare earth producer MP Materials and lithium miner Lithium Americas. According to CNBC, Humpton has expressed support for such government investment deals.

The rare earth sector has gained strategic importance in recent years as these materials are critical to various high-tech applications, including defense systems and renewable energy technologies. The government's interest in securing domestic supply chains for critical minerals has intensified amid concerns about foreign dependence.

First of all, congratulations!

I think you have one of the best performing portfolios here in the community (in terms of percentages). Are you professionally active in the financial sector or have you built up your knowledge purely as a "hobby" or purely out of interest? 😄

Buying the right stocks, buying in tranches, knowing when enough is enough, etc. - Sure, a bit of luck is always involved, but I don't think the basis for this comes from just anywhere 😅
