Neura Robotics CEO expects one of the largest financing rounds in Europe

The start-up wants to raise at least half a billion euros soon. This should ensure its international success. Company boss David Reger wants to be able to compete with Tesla.

Berlin. The German robotics start-up Neura Robotics wants to become a global market leader with its robots. "Our goal is to become the next internationally successful multi-billion corporation after SAP that comes from Germany," explains CEO David Reger in an interview with Handelsblatt.

However, there is still a long way to go. The company is not disclosing how many robots Neura has already produced and sold. Reger only reveals that the order backlog currently stands at more than one billion euros.

In order to keep up with the US provider Figure AI and the "Optimus" robots from Tesla and to be able to scale further, the Metzingen-based company first needs more money. "It's clear that we need to raise new capital," says Reger, at least a "mid three-digit million amount". This would make Neura Robotics the second robotics unicorn in Germany - after its competitor Agile Robots from Munich - and value it at well over one billion euros.

However, Reger does not want to stop there and adds: "The next round will certainly be one of the biggest that Europe has ever seen." For comparison: AI defense start-up Helsing has already raised 600 million euros this year. And Wayve, the British specialist for autonomous driving, even received more than one billion dollars last year.

But first Reger wants to convince the public of the capabilities of his robots. At the Ifa technology and industry trade fair in Berlin, which starts on Friday, Neura Robotics wants to present its two most important products, the household robot "Mipa" and the humanoid robot "4NE1". And unlike at the Automatica trade fair in Munich in June, the 4NE1 will also be running.

Ladies and gentlemen, can GFT also benefit from this?

You're up early too! 😉
I find Neura super exciting. I've been following them for a while now and have seen a lot of interviews with Rieger. Funnily enough, they haven't asked me about a financing round yet 😉😂

@Multibagger
That's right, I'm often looking for pearls early on.

@Tenbagger2024 then take a look at $992 🧐

Good morning my dear,
I really like Lenovo's products.
I thought the purchase of Medion was strategically good.
In terms of the chart, the company is scratching the 200-day line.
Overcoming it should be a good sign.
The next few years are expected to see nice, steady earnings growth of 20% per year. This will reduce the P/E ratio.
PEG is below 1.
Dividend yield rises to over 4%.

Dell could be an alternative. It is scratching the 200-day line from above. This should hold for the time being.
As a US company, Dell should perhaps play a greater role in data centers.
But these are just guesses.
Lenovo simply has the China risk. Whereas with Dell you have the 🍊 risk.

@Tenbagger2024 I'm looking forward to having something to read when I go straight to the beach after breakfast around 11.😉

@Iwamoto What do you find exciting about it?

@Multibagger For a medium to long-term investment, still Lenovo. If I remember correctly, this is the Chinese or Hong Kong subsidiary of IBM $992

$DELL This is also interesting in view of the data centers, although I see a US risk here. I am mainly invested in ETFs, which in turn invest for the most part in the USA. This is basically not a problem, as we often have the best companies here, which generate their sales worldwide. However, there are still a few risks, for example the currency or politics, so I think that if I invest 70 or 80 % of my ETFs in the USA anyway and cover the good companies, why not give priority to European or, in this case, Chinese stocks...

@Multibagger The early worm... or something like that 😉
Lenovo was one of the first stocks I bought. But sold it at some point for a profit.

@Iwamoto
Otherwise rely on the blades, they are at Lenovo as well as at Dell, and even in the data centers.
Qualcomm, AMD, Micron etc. come to mind.
But I think you're already in AMD.

@TradingHase well, when I get up at the moment it's 03:30 in the morning for most of you😂 very few of you are writing! 😉 It's 13:15 here now. at the start of trading in the USA it's 20:30 here, so dinner time.

Top information as always. Thank you! :-)

It was exciting to see the robots in action at the IFA today. They look relatively advanced, but the humanoid robot was still hanging on chains and not standing freely. But it performed its tasks successfully.

That sounds very good.
Have you discovered any other interesting companies?

@RenaTess
Very difficult to say.
They have service robots for restaurants and hospitals, Titan, Adam and Scorpion are the robots. There are now also deals with retailers.
There's a lot of fantasy involved and you have to believe in success.
Because the company will not be profitable for the next few years, but losses are falling and sales are rising.
In addition, there are partnerships in China. That is positive, but could also be a burden.
It's a good question how the customs issue will affect this.

The story is right, but an investment does involve risk.

The Traderfox check also shows a rather poor performance.

Moin, that's an interesting report that I read a few days ago. I actually wanted to write a post about it myself, but you were quicker 😜 First come, first served.

Neura Robotics' vision sounds promising. In the end, it remains to be seen how the 4ne1 robots will really be received by the market and consumers.

Hi there, two silly thoughts 🙈😂.
The next post on Robotic will come from you.

It doesn't matter if the next post comes from you 😅 The main thing is that it enriches this exciting topic of humanoid robotics 🤖
