What's going on?

Synopsis has always been a perennial favorite in recent years.
That's why I'm surprised.

@Tenbagger2024 So what? A long-term runner is allowed to get a correction? That will happen again

@BockaufDividenden
Yes, of course.
Let's see in October whether the cadence figures aren't good either.
Or whether Synopsis has lost market share.
Maybe even to Siemens

@Tenbagger2024 So my tip would still be Celestica $CLS:D but it has already done extremely well. I went in there months ago with a leveraged bill, over +250% went off there

And they're still rising ....., so it's good to hedge with a stop loss.

I don't think the company is bad, but I don't think a 47 P/E ratio, which will fall to 41 next year, is justified given the growth.

@Tenbagger2024 Therefore, set a stop loss when it starts to weaken.

@Multibagger How would you assess the situation? Would a long be an option for you at the moment?

@Klein-Anleger1 I haven't looked at it yet. Just got back to the hotel after a few cocktails. Don't know yet how much the views have been corrected.

@Klein-Anleger1 so I took a quick look. Technical reaction possible after such a crash of 5-10%. However, the problems that the CEO mentioned in the press conference seem more protracted and serious to me. Business in China has almost collapsed because customers have lost confidence in American companies due to the tariff problems and export restrictions and are still reluctant to pay tariffs even after normalization.
And one of the most important customers is $INTC, which is currently under severe pressure itself and has therefore scaled back investments in the 18A plans supplied by $SNPS.

@Multibagger All right, thanks for your assessment 🤝😁

@Klein-Anleger1 Did you get in? If so, which bill with which KO did you take? I think just under 380$ could be interesting
••

@Multibagger no, I'm still on the sidelines 🙈 Are you?

@Klein-Anleger1 no, I think I will at least wait until the USA consumer prices and then decide whether and which of the bills I will take

@Multibagger off topic, have you ever looked at $CIFR? It looks quite similar to $IREN. Do you see similar potential there? ✌️

@Klein-Anleger1 Yes, I have it on my watchlist. But I can't tell at the moment whether it has just as much potential

Synopsys reports weaker than expected Q3 results and forecasts

Did anyone get in? I had a look at 2 derivative variants.
One for the hardcore traders the VG746V with leverage 31
Or the somewhat calmer variant VG746W with leverage 20.
Let's see which way it goes today at the US opening.

I think we still need to be patient.
I think it could take a while for a recovery to take place.
We will see

@Tenbagger2024 A distinction must be made between a sustained recovery and a technical reaction. I go for the latter if at all

@Multibagger had been on the WL for ages. I took a small position for my "long-term portfolio".

@toscho The Hardcore bill made 400% yesterday. But it had already done so well beforehand that I was no longer in it. Too bad!

They lowered the guidance but yes, reaction is exaggerated.

According to Marketscreener, earnings expectations have halved over the next 3 years. The P/E ratio for 2027 is now even higher (>60). Looks justified
