Wishes for 2026!

Dear GQ Community!

Today it's not about stock presentations, reviews, outlooks and performances. Today it's about all of you.

When I registered here almost exactly a year ago, I had no idea what a great exchange was taking place here. I just wanted to have a site where I could summarize my various portfolios.

Gradually, I started to enjoy not only reading posts, but also trying to become an active participant myself.

Over time, the daily exchange has become a permanent feature. That's not a given for my age. I'm not active on Insta, Tiktok, Facebook or X. I'm only here several times a day. And I would like to thank everyone who regularly interacts with me, praises me, criticizes me or responds in any way at all.

That brings us to wish 1.

I now have almost 2900 followers here. I think that's the most of all. I'm very happy about that.

My posts are read or clicked on by an average of 1500 members of the community. That's ok.

But of those who read the posts, only around 3-5% respond on average. I find that very sad and I know that the other very active members here feel the same way.

So I really wonder what is so difficult or time-consuming about leaving a like in whatever form as a small token of appreciation. Everyone who provides content here is happy about it because it is our free time that we sacrifice to share our ideas with you.

Even more unpleasant is the number of comments on these posts. On average, it is 1 -1.5% of those who look at these posts. I know that many have inhibitions, feel underqualified to write their own posts, but to write briefly on a post, I see it the same way, I see it differently, what do you mean by xy? It's really possible for everyone and would make me and the other top creators here happy.

This community lives from all of us, but only as long as there are enough active participants. And unfortunately I see the great danger that more and more great members are withdrawing. Here I would just like to give the example of Mal @EpsEra and @BamBamInvest whose content I miss very much.

So take heart, take an active part, show your appreciation. Nobody will stone you if something is illogical or not perfectly researched.

I have seen a few new active members here in the last few weeks who have dared to write their first post. Thanks for that, as well as to @Klein-Anleger or to @MrSchnitzel who have presented their first analyses. Keep up the good work!

Wish 2 goes to the people in the background of this platform. @christian and everyone else. You do a great job, but you could also contribute a little more to the functioning of this great community than giving 10 coins for every post of a certain size, which can then only be converted into merch. Why don't you reward the most active users here with free months, upgrades, or create the possibility to convert the coins into premium memberships. I'm not interested in saving €50 or €100 a year, they won't make me poorer or richer at the end of my life. But it's about recognizing the members who keep this community going and ensure that people like me stay here. Because I can also track my deposits elsewhere.

So that's it for this year! I wish everyone a happy new year and am curious to see what the reactions will be, if there are any from one side or the other 😉

Dear Chris, don't let the low response get you down. Unfortunately, this is not only the case on Getquin, but a general phenomenon. More importantly, your analyses offer real added value and help people to understand the market. You discover stocks with a lot of potential that nobody else sees. Your follower numbers show you that you are on the right track. Stay tuned and have a happy new year!

The same goes for @Tenbagger2024 🫶

Thank you my dear.
Next year, too, we will rejoice together. But also dry our tears together and comfort each other.
Happy New Year

Muahahah, after all, I'm often one of those 1 to 1.5% commenters and likers. 🤓

I'm not a post creator on Facebook, Insta and co either because I don't have much to say that offers real added value for others, it's hardly any different here. And instead of posting unnecessary stuff that nobody wants to read, I prefer not to. Nobody needs spam either. 😅
I'd rather respond with comments and likes on things that I can contribute something useful to.

Hi, thank you so much for all your contributions this year! As this is my first staff, I have learned a lot from you. Thank you for that!
I also think that the developers should support the app a bit more than with 10 coins 🫣
But you can also redeem the Collins for a Premium subscription. You need 1000 coins for that. I think that's also one of the reasons why I'm seeing more and more AI texts appear, because people just want to quickly fill up 100 posts for a month of Premium. But they don't pay attention to the quality. Whether it took me 5 hours for my analysis or someone 10 seconds for the prompt at ChatGPT - it comes to the same 10 coins 😏

I see it the same way as you do.
Although I haven't been part of this community or the stock market in general for that long, it has unfortunately become very quiet here at times.
I also look forward to every exchange or when you can learn something new or pass on your knowledge/opinion.
Sometimes there's a real lack of motivation to post and comment here, partly because it's so quiet.
As you say, the developers should support posts and comments more.
I would also love it if there were more people here who add value, just more users would be great so the developers should advertise this app more so that new people who hopefully add value join.
Thank you for your contributions and insights.

@MrSchnitzel the number of users is huge with around 300,000 in Europe. I don't know how many of them are unsubscribed. Not all of them are probably German-speaking. But they would be enough.

Thank you so much for these honest words! It's nice to read how much the exchange here means to you - and you're absolutely right: a like or a short comment is the fuel for EVERYONE who invests time and heart and soul here. But of course a big thank you from me to you for your great contributions and your commitment. It's great that you're here! Happy New Year! :-)

2900 followers on GetQuin is quite an achievement. Probably more like 29k followers on major social platforms. 😁
By the way, an engagement rate of 3-5% is high-end tier on social media platforms. 👌
Keep up the good work and happy new year!

@BigMo Thank you for your encouragement. I just don't have anything to compare it to 😉 But we're in a special forum here and people don't give out hearts because the dress looks good or a bit more skin is shown😂
Although if I did that, the response would probably be even lower 😂😂

profile image
@Multibagger 😂 The GetQuin equivalent of "Show more skin" is posting big fat gains... Guarantees engagement but with absolutely zero added value.
What you do is more time-consuming but certainly more sustainable. Have you ever considered expanding your bubble to X, for example?
2
profile image
@BigMo No, I haven't thought about it.

@Multibagger I really like your contributions and those of the others. You offer added value here for free that would probably not be freely available elsewhere. I hope you have already realized that. I particularly like your posts on warrants etc. You are welcome to create more here. Why here OS A and not OS B or why here endless and here with end date. Specifically with examples.
But the articles on commodities are also interesting.
Therefore. Many thanks to all topic creators for your work and for sharing your knowledge. Happy New Year to all. Sven

Although I am an ETF fan, your articles have also prompted me to buy one or two individual shares.
All of them have brought me a (small) profit. In the meantime, I have sold them again.
I still enjoy reading your articles. Especially on the subject of commodities. I still see a lot of potential there.
I wish you and your family a happy new year and hope that you are getting closer and closer to your financial goal.

Hi, I'm still fairly new here, I've been active for about a week. I can understand that it is frustrating not to receive any feedback. However, at the moment I am still a passive user here, but I do appreciate your input in the community. Ultimately, it's all about gaining a better understanding of investments and how to make the best use of them.
Happy New Year from me too.

@OberstvonGatow Thank you very much, even if that wasn't the reason for the post. Happy New Year!
I am one of the silent readers. Nevertheless, I really appreciate your contributions and those of many other members. A big thank you for that ❤️

With my first contribution, perhaps the hurdle has been overcome and I will soon be posting/responding myself.

Please keep up the good work.
I wish you and the whole community a successful 2026!

I have to say, I've been on qetquin for a few years now and in the beginning the posts were often more bad than good. Meanwhile there are many users who write really cool posts and invest a lot of time, so that there are good quality posts! Thanks for that, let's hope that the exchange remains lively in the new year and that you are healthy. 😇

be happy about what you achieve. if it's not enough for you, do something about it. the only thing i can't stand is this whining and begging. if you enjoy what you do, keep doing it, who cares? my hobby is fishing. i only do it for myself and enjoy every second of it. nobody notices that and i get an average of 0% likes, reactions or comments. i do it because i enjoy it. no more no less. if you only do it for your likes and comments, then i doubt that you really enjoy it. why did we all used to go to the football pitch in all weathers? for the fame? no, because it was fun. so stop whining or just stop doing what you don't enjoy. i really can't listen to this constant whining anymore. if it's not fun, just leave it.

@profit_potential_2376 you fish for yourself and probably with yourself alone! 😂 And a like from the fish you caught might be too much to ask.
But thank you for your reaction. I also accept opinions beyond the mainstream. After all, I almost always trade against it.😎😉 Good luck with your hobbies in the New Year!

Hello, everything is new to me here and I have to understand everything first. I only use this tool to put together my brokers. The rest is "not yet" interesting for me. Here's to a successful 2026.

Unfortunately, I too often find myself just reading, but a 👍 is always in there with meaningful contributions. 🤝 Thank you for your valuable work and I wish you a happy new year!

I think it's great that there are people like you who act openly and constructively.
The immense amount of time you and the others mentioned invest in analysis and contributions is also remarkable.
To be honest, it inspires me more and more.
My motivation was similar to yours. Simply an app to better manage several portfolios.
I didn't really care about a forum....not anymore.
Keep up the good work!

@trade_samurai_721 Thank you for your feedback
Ok, I'll respond more to posts in future 🤓 I always read your posts, but so far I haven't even thought about responding. I don't think anyone meant it in a bad way, but maybe it's a bit of a habit, as you often just keep scrolling on Instagram and co.

In any case, I really appreciate your work, keep it up!

Happy New Year, good luck and health in all situations for everyone.

Thanks also from me to all the contributions that make sense and also those that are funny. There was quite a few smiles along the way to lighten things up.

I always say that life doesn't take place online, and that's why I tend to be passive. I'm always happy when new posts are made here, but to be honest I don't see any reason to always like them. I don't need this kind of confirmation myself. In real life, I see things a little differently, as friendly interaction is more important to me. Life circumstances and characters are so diverse that if you do something voluntarily, you still shouldn't expect anything. What comes back, comes back and what doesn't, doesn't.
So, that's enough mustard and understanding, even if I think resonance can also be transmitted by telepathy. If it doesn't arrive, then unfortunately that's the way it is. 😄
So I wish everyone here a good time and every success!

@Steppenwolf66 I don't want the reaction to hear that I'm a horny guy, I know that too 😂😎
For me, it's more about recognizing what input the others want more of and what interests them less. Why should I make posts about things that might only interest 2 or 3 people.
1
profile image
We are all horny. 😊
If you are one of the 2-3, the general interest is not as relevant as what interests you. For the interest in other companies, you could vote before you make the effort and then you reach those who are interested 🤷

Thank you for your exciting contributions, here's to a good 2026🙏🏼

Moin, you can ask but not demand. It is everyone's own free decision. What's your point? It doesn't matter whether you get digital approval or not, your analog mood shouldn't depend on it.

I can definitely understand your intention. However, the proportion of those who actively participate will be in such an online format, in meetings at work, in the lecture hall, wherever in the smaller circle of participants. If that motivates others to stop contributing, that's a shame. I hope that all those who are actively involved here will continue to do so. Those who leave it may not necessarily do so because of a lack of feedback culture, perhaps there is another problem in life behind it. Here's to continued good contributions and many thanks for them; I will show my appreciation whenever I read. Best regards Christian
