At the end of the year, you always get a little sentimental and think about what the year has brought and what has happened.

As I sat there thinking about all the good things that happened this year, I couldn't help but think of you. Yes, that's right, of you too.

It's funny, because I actually hate social media. It brings hate, malice, envy, resentment and many other great things that you really don't need. But what they don't bring is a benefit, the feeling of having learned something new, having made progress and having invested your time wisely.

For me, Getquin was actually just a platform where I could bundle all my investments and that was it. Until I started reading certain posts. And to my astonishment, I realized that most of them were really good, even made sense and helped me move forward. Even stupid posts were well questioned, corrected or the idiocy of them was brilliantly ironic.

My personal highlight of all that has been written here and also the reason why I am making this post at all is @Therapeut .

I don't know him and he doesn't know me and yet he has made an insanely huge difference in my life without having a clue.

And that's just with one stupid comment.

By way of background, I've been a self-employed nutritionist since 2019 and work as a nutritional therapist. Corona has really hit me hard. So much so that I haven't been able to sleep at all for at least two nights a week since then. And although corona is no longer a big issue, this problem has persisted no matter what I've done.

Anyone who has or has ever had sleeping problems understands how it feels.

His comment was when I asked him about good financial books or something, but one of the books he included was "Don't worry, live" and shit that thing helped me!

This book gave me the go-ahead which, along with other measures, meant that I finally got rid of these sleep problems in 2023. As a result, I was able to work much better, improve my financial situation, get rid of many fears about the future and finally become happier again. A lot of pressure is now gone, so I can look forward to the new year 2024 in a more positive and relaxed way and that means a lot to me!

Even if almost nobody reads this post, except the @Therapeut and that's only because I tagged it, it's worth the effort just to say thank you. Thank you to you for responding to questions about financial books. Thank you to everyone who makes the effort to analyze stocks, thank you to everyone who questions posts, explains context and generally makes sense on this platform.

You may not know it, but you may be influencing someone as positively with your work as that stupid shark in a suit is influencing me.

I wish everyone a happy new year 2024 and don't let it get you down.

Thank you for your post and your feedback, which is unfortunately very rare these days. Your text motivates me to answer questions more consciously.🤲🙏

@theawesomerobin There are a lot of very good authors here, so I would like to disagree with you on this point. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your appreciation!
Have a good start to the new year!
