Short statement about my inactivity

It's really nice when the community thinks of you 🥹.

I'm just a bit quieter at the moment because I'm struggling with a lot of things myself,

Be it our wedding in 1.5 years, where I'm afraid I won't be able to offer my fiancée enough,

our house (which I love but of course there are always new construction sites coming up, like now with Smarthome or suddenly the canopy was leaking which cost 2k)

Or simply the fear of not being able to offer my future family everything they deserve from a husband, because in our case the cliché applies, as my fiancée has suffered from cerebral palsy since birth and can't work a 40-hour week forever.

Of course, I'm also still working @BockaufDividenden at FTMo schools, where I would also like to have more time... but we can manage that.

As a result, I was working overtime without end, from one customer to the next, until fortunately my boss stopped me.

Now I'm standing in the workshop with a beer and just enjoying the silence in the village😅

Sometimes you wish you were back in your carefree 20s, but I'm happy to do it. Even if it's only enough for a small savings plan on the $HMWO (+0.03%) because otherwise everything goes to Unit Plus where I can decide immediately with the card.

I'll be back for you soon with silly comments and maybe an investment idea or two

That's life.

Kevin

Hey Kevin, without knowing you. First of all, all the best to you. Don't ruin yourself. It's easy to say, but think about what's really important to you.
Sometimes health, family and self-satisfaction are more important than "not being able to offer everything". Full throttle all the time rarely works!
I look forward to reading more from you soon ✌🏻

Hello Kevin, I feel for you. I know similar situations. I can't really give you any advice because I'm often at the limit myself. So maybe just something about your inner thoughts. I think the thoughts you have, the fears and worries are much worse in your mind (i.e. in your imagination) than they are in reality. I think we often tend to create fake scenarios (overthinking) that often don't have the same dimensions in reality. But the fact that we are then worried and anxious inhibits what is to come or takes the power and energy out of the day. And then things often don't go well and we see ourselves and our thoughts confirmed. I think you have to get out of that. I've got used to accepting that the neighbors with the fancy car or the great house have simply won the "competition". I don't begrudge anyone it, but I don't want to join in with the "always having more" and showing off. Comparisons are poison anyway. It has always bothered me. At the moment, I feel that many of my friends are buying an even better house or a great sports car. I keep catching myself feeling down. But then I don't let these thoughts get too far. I try to see my story as a heroic tale. The man who works hard, doesn't allow himself anything, but always tries to do what he can for his family and invest on the side. I think my wife and kids see this and appreciate it and I'm convinced it will have a positive impact on them. That makes me happy- but I have my inner struggles. So, I feel for you. But you are a hero. Keep going and yes, we are men and we are on this 💪🏻 and we can take it. 🙌👍🏻

@trade_commander_2498 Beautiful words my Freund💪🏼
These are moments that I really enjoy in this community. In addition to the focus on investing, there is a lot of humanity.

Hi Kevin, first of all I wish you all the best and lots of strength for all your everyday worries. I completely understand that you wish you were back in your 20s! You put yourself under a lot of stress and perhaps want to please everyone, but that's often difficult to achieve, as I've noticed in my own life. I've also slowed down at work, because why stress yourself out in life for a company/authority.
It's also great when you step on the gas at work, but in the end the boss might be happy but not your physical self. I hope you can focus on family life and you're making good progress with the house :)
Oh and thanks for any tips on the FTMO challenge :)

Dear Kevin, I am mostly just a silent reader - but I wish you all the best and lots of strength!
The darkest night is before the dawn! With this in mind, I hope that things become more relaxed again and that we can read something from you here again soon!

You still have 1.5 seasons easy. When bridezilla is released you have other things to worry about
