getquin Census 2023 - The results
Pizza Hawaii, the breakfast of champions!
An incredible 471 getquin members took part in the 2023 census. That's almost 150 more than participated in getquin Census 2022, but not even a third of my followers. Shame on you!

Also this year, of course, we start with the evaluation of the most important question: What should definitely not be on a pizza?
Around 130 participants opted for pineapple. This is incredibly stupid, because pineapple makes every dish better. I will block the 130 users in due course. 3 participants, on the other hand, decided that "pineapple" has no place on a pizza. "Annanass" I would have understood, but it doesn't make sense like that. One of these 3 also earns over 6001 euros, I will inform your boss, that's it for you! The other two are rather (and completely rightly) of the low-income type.
Very commendable are however the approx. 30 users, who decided against donkey, donkey meat or donkey shit on the Pizza. High in the course, but nevertheless clearly abgeschlagen were: Artichokes, fish (especially tuna and anchovies) / Seafood, meat, cheese, Nutella (how do you come up with that?) / Chocolate, olives, mushrooms, ham and radioactive substances such as uranium.
In addition, I do not want to deprive you of an excerpt of some (not all) rather curious mentions. In fact, 2 users don't like bricks on pizza at all, others must have had bad experiences with "hexagonal wrenches", pubic hair, salmonella, rusty screws, "necrotic tissue and spinach" (I wonder if only spinach or only necrotic tissue are okay?), motor oil, human flesh, fan belts, cats, dogs, a truck ( @Lorena was it you?), television, broken glass and "your mother" made.
Greetings go out to my personal highlight, who has proven that he can remember things for just under a year, and doesn't want a "little yellow triangle" on his pizza (which may just be a euphemism for pineapple).
Besides the colleagues who just pile everything on a pizza, I was left a bit perplexed by the 18-20 year old user who would rather not have an Apache fighter helicopter on his pizza. However, not as perplexed as the guys who definitely don't want coke & hookers or "another pizza" on their pizza.

Few users really start investing very early. Compared to 2022, the average age has risen to getquin - and so has the average income. At the same time, however, the crisis is also making itself felt, as the level of investments is only slightly different from 2022, despite the increase in income.
Moreover, everyone became more experienced (not necessarily smarter) in 2023. The average experience with risky forms of investment was able to grow compared to 2022. This number is likely to continue to grow in the future, as over 50% plan to hold their assets for 21 years or more. In general, the percentage of traders with very short holding periods is vanishingly small. Almost 75% of users plan to hold longer than 10 years.
Even higher, at 88.1%, is actually the percentage of male getquin users. At least, users who feel they belong to the female gender could outnumber those who consider themselves animal. With 2 diverse Nutzer:innen it is enough for the two at least for a Candle Light Dinner. Perhaps in the @getquin -headquarters in Berlin?!
The most popular assets by far are ETFs and stocks. At least half of the users also trade in crypto. All other assets are quite far behind with shares between 9% and 17%.
Let's look at a few striking correlations in the data
Again this year, there are community members who invest more than they earn. Presumably, existing assets are being redeployed here. Overall, however, the average amount invested increases with income. According to the data, high incomes are more tempting to gamble with crypto than low incomes.
The number of women and animals investing in crypto is also interesting. At less than 5% each, this is once again significantly lower than the overall percentage of women / animals investing. Crypto is probably the male domain in the already male-dominated financial world. For this, women and animals on getquin plan to stay invested significantly longer than men. Otherwise, I could not find any gender-specific conspicuities. Except that it is the men who have the greatest aversion to pineapple on pizza.
And that brings me to my final point: low-income earners tend to dislike pineapple on pizza more than higher-income earners. So if you want to increase your income, you should go for this taste experience.
