Sandnes, Norway, March 23, 2026 - Desert Control (OSE: DSRT), a leader in soil and water conservation technology, announces that Berkeley Country Club in El Cerrito, California, has signed a contract to apply Liquid Natural Clay (LNC) to its golf course after a successful multi-month trial run. The trial showed a reduction in water usage while maintaining turf quality.

LNC, a patented soil amendment technology, helps sandy soils retain water more effectively, reducing the need for irrigation and promoting healthier plant growth. Berkeley Country Club's test results showed a measurable improvement in water efficiency that meets both operational requirements and the club's long-standing commitment to natural habitat conservation.

The commercial agreement is based on Desert Control's results-based payment model and generates monthly recurring revenue directly linked to demonstrable water savings. This development strengthens Desert Control's growing portfolio of recurring revenue agreements in the U.S. Gulf segment and supports further business development in water scarce markets.

"We are very pleased to welcome Berkeley Country Club as a new business customer. Not only is it a traditional, beautiful and highly regarded golf course, but it also has a longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship," said James Thomas, CEO of Desert Control. "The Desert Control team evaluated Berkeley Country Club using a thoughtful, data-driven approach, and the results speak for themselves. We are proud that Berkeley Country Club will contribute to its sustainability goals while providing world-class playing conditions for its members."

Berkeley Country Club began testing LNC to explore ways to reduce water use in drought-prone areas. According to Jeff Perry, General Manager of Berkeley Country Club, the trial showed a clear benefit.

"Berkeley Country Club is pleased to partner with Desert Control and continue its responsible stewardship of the environment," Perry said. "Liquid Natural Clay (LNC) enhances the soil's ability to store water in the root zone where it is needed most. In California - where water management is characterized by limited resources, volatile weather and rising costs - this has a direct impact on turf quality and overall water use. LNC is a practical solution with a tangible impact, and we are confident in the technology and strength of this partnership."

With the new agreement, Berkeley Country Club will begin full implementation of LNC in the coming weeks.

@Keineui That's true, but they need every customer and you know how it is when you have satisfied customers, others come more easily

If this works out, the old highs will only be a stopover 😅🚀

@Johannes12345 yup that's the case, but there's still a long way to go. I wrote it in the idea, total loss or 10000% 😆

@Raketentoni I'll keep an eye on it and it might be worth a small gamble. Thanks for the info 💪🚀
How do you proceed?

@Johannes12345 I put a small foot in the door 2 weeks ago. I'll keep an eye on it and if something sustainable comes up I'll increase my position

@Raketentoni Sounds like a plan - I'll build up my other two positions first. Have set price alerts for $DSRT. Here's to a good return 🚀

It seems to be coming as I feared. Your money is going down the drain. 🙈

@TradingHase I can live with that, they have 26 new projects and it was clear that it would need money. Nevertheless, I believe in it 😬

@Raketentoni I'll keep my fingers crossed from the sidelines, of course, as I don't think it's a bad idea either, but I don't have the conviction to invest in the business.
And if it goes through the roof, at least one of us will be rich 😉
