Software title

Uff guys what two days... even if I personally think of titles like ServiceNow $NOW (-3.7%) and Inuit $INTU (+2.89%) I really have to start thinking about what to do next.

I'm definitely too high on Now at €110, but it makes absolutely no sense to keep buying even though the market continues to punish it every day. As the saying goes: the market is always right.

I will definitely wait for the next figures for both stocks and see how they turn out.

However, I will continue to buy Cybersecurity. $NET (-8.33%)
$PANW (-3.91%)
$CRWD (-4.06%) I simply see it as too strongly positioned. My entry points were also better there and I have more leeway. Let's wait and see.

How do you see the current sell-off?

I just read an interesting article on the subject a little while ago, which really reinforced my opinion on the subject:

I remain invested in my software stocks.🤷🏼‍♂️

I would be particularly careful with cybersecurity because of Claude Mythos, because this AI model can actually find and fix zero-day security vulnerabilities more reliably and faster than a human.
This will make our software more robust, which is a good thing, but today's lengthy penetration tests will be a thing of the past.
If Anthropic's story is true and the Glasswing project ($CRWD and $PANW are involved), which Claude Mythos is currently testing, gets even ONE positive response, then the cyber security industry will go under.
So you'd better set your stop loss a little tighter.
By the way, I wouldn't consider Cloudflare to be all that vulnerable.

@BeachPlease Yesterday you said you were still waiting for $PANW and $CRWD. Changed your mind?

@jkb92 Nope, just pulled up the stop loss :) I'll try the entries, but if it doesn't work out, I'll be out again very quickly.

@jkb92 I am currently watching $C1HK34, quasi as an early indicator, as you can see here whether the bottom at ~$136 is holding.

@BeachPlease How do you see the company $RBRK positioned against the threat of AI?
••
profile image
@Dennisje Rubrik is more broadly positioned, so only the threat analysis business case should be at risk.
The fundamentals don't look so good: They have been making losses for years and their debt is relatively high.
In chart terms, they fall out of my personal strategy - it is no longer a correction if the 0.768 Fib retracement is torn. Then it's just a big pile of sh... 😅
If you want to invest, I would advise you to enter around $42.30, where a first support has formed today. The stock is hot, so you should definitely set a stop loss.
Good luck and may the returns be with you :)

@BeachPlease They are close to profitability and also have more cash than debt. Maybe that will make it a little better. I've already bought shares, unfortunately a bit too early. The last figures simply convinced me :( I just wonder why AI should now destroy their business model. I thought they would be less affected than other SaaS/cyber companies.

@Dennisje Return since the IPO 2 years ago is (still) ~30%, with 40% of the company owned by banks. Success looks different.

@BeachPlease Well then short all cybersecurity stocks, preferably before Anthropic's IPO, their marketing paper on Mythos must be worthwhile.
Btw, it's called Zero Day.

As long as nothing changes in the figures, these are all opportunities to buy more
Just don't look at the share price ;-)

The question is whether artificial intelligence will destroy all these companies and is actually better.

@Asgard19 That is the big question. It didn't look like that in the last earnings. Also, for example, $INTU is working closely with Anthropic. Well, time will tell

@Barrd it won't happen overnight, another point that many people forget is what if 100 million jobs really are lost? Where will the income come from? How will AI be taxed? And so on ....... I can't currently imagine that AI will be allowed to kill "all" companies
