@Wealth-Accelerator I think it’s a good plan, and I especially appreciate that you’re even considering the question.
The way I understand your plan, it might be a bit too focused on the future for me personally, and I’d try to live a little more in the present. Take the example of the trip to Kilimanjaro: If you have the desire, just do it! Savings goals aside, because you don’t know if you’ll still be able to do it in 1, 5, or 10 years.
However, I’m over 50, so I probably have a different “sense of time.”

I always try to live in the here and now, but I actually find myself thinking about the future quite often. Given my current situation and my decision to use this plan as a rough roadmap, I think I’ll be able to cut way back on worrying about the future. I also shared our family Sankey diagram so people would believe that we’re already doing quite a bit in the here and now. Our biggest expense is travel. So I guess there will be quite a bit more coming in that area. But right now, there’s also a lot that’s kid-friendly.
