@Maveric2005 oha very strong 💪. How much money do you need to be "free" (in your opinion)?
profile image
@Zottel4Profit very individual question. Everyone has a different "lifestyle". Our "sweatspot" is roughly a 3mio portfolio.

@Maveric2005 I would go along with that. A little more if necessary

@Maveric2005 "Sweating point"? Then you should add something else.

@Maveric2005 What does your company do? I think becoming self-employed alongside my job is a Gamechanger😮‍💨

But otherwise more the sociable, helpful type. If you don't get on my nerves ...

@DividendenWaschbaer I don't mean you. I mean the guy who presses 🆘 at regular intervals but 99% of the time without comment but follows me at the same time

@DonkeyInvestor I'm not your fan either.
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor Oh, that doesn't bother me. Much enemy, much honor.

@Charmin not me either
profile image
@Charmin Hm, justifying unsympathetic behavior with your IQ is very embarrassing, but maybe you'll get around to it

@Gerseal38317 🫡 Thank you for your service. Don't be modest. Many people don't even know what it means to be deployed abroad, even for their family.

34, trained software developer, now working in the office for a large real estate brokerage company. But my goal is to become a real estate agent too 🏡

Hobbies: trolling on getquin and all kinds of handyman jobs around the house. Painting, carpentry, electronics.

profile image
@Mcl1991 What other requirements do you need to be a real estate agent? I thought it wasn't a protected profession, so in principle anyone could do it?
profile image
@Chandra That's what makes the difference and is unfortunately the problem why brokers don't have a good reputation in society.
Of course you could get started that way, but it's more reputable if you have experience.
It's important for the brokerage firm I work for to work with reputable brokers. It is also important to me to be able to advise customers competently. As I still lack expertise in the real estate sector, I have been given the opportunity to work in the office and gain experience until I am ready.
Edit: However, it is advisable to at least take a course to become a real estate agent (IHK) in order to have some basic knowledge.
Some people have also trained to become a real estate agent, although that doesn't have much to do with estate agents

41.
After 4 semesters, I gave up my computer science studies and completed an apprenticeship as an FI in the field of system integration.

Then I also moved out. It was quite a ride, but contrary to my brother's opinion, I went through with it.

Then different stations: First Admin for Debian and Unix distributions, then Admin+ for RedHat distributions, then Architect and Consultant for VMware vSphere and VMware/Omnissa Horizon infrastructures, then started at VMware, now Omnissa and made it from Senior Consultant to Senior Technical Account Manager.

Hobbies? Many.
For example, I go to the sidelines of an American football team in the region and give them photos that they wouldn't otherwise get. Because I really appreciate photography and wonder when the big bang will come when people realize that smartphones are all well and good, but there's also a reason why a lot of glass is put in front of the (much larger) sensor. A new segment in this context would be droning, which I'm currently saving up for. Fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I also drive youngtimers, 2 of them. If I had more time, I would use it to set up a workshop to work on them. Correspondingly: Motorsport fan, especially long-distance racing. Many years in Formula 1 (Michael Schumacher was an idol for me in a challenging childhood), now at home in NASCAR (RFK Racing!), WEC (Go Caddillac!) and the 24h race at the Nürburgring.

Then I have 2 to 4 cats - 2 are no longer alive due to their age, but their sisters are still alive and have now reached a biblical age - and I can no longer do without them.

And I'm catching up on the backlog in administration, document management and maintenance of our family home, which is now 61 years old, and helping my mother through her more than deserved retirement, where she should finally be enjoying life after so many decades. That's one of the hardest things I'm working on at the moment.

So...when I have time again and I'm bored, I read various biographies and specialist books. I rarely read fiction and classic novels at the moment.
