Thanks for your post, I keep thinking about adding an ETF with dividend growth to my portfolio. Are there any that generate e.g. 10% dividend growth over a long period of time?
In such a way that I can save in them for 20 years?
High yield doesn't help me yet, I have a long horizon with a long savings phase.

@Therapeut All the ETFs listed have generated a total return of between 12 and 13% per year over the last 7 years.
Of course, nobody knows whether this will be the case in the future.

@PowerWordChill I'm only concerned with the div. return, which increases enormously over 20 years. But to achieve this, they would have to increase it by 10% every year

@Therapeut Do I understand you correctly, you are looking for an ETF that holds companies that have had an annual dividend increase of 10% p.a. over the last 20 years?

What goal are you pursuing with this?

@PowerWordChill yes exactly that😂 I would like to save the ETF for 20 years to benefit from the payouts later, as I still have so long to go

@PowerWordChill I did the math. With 2% div. and 10% div. growth per year over 20 years, that would be a €250 savings plan with 5-7% growth from the 21st year onwards and a net monthly payout of around €1000

@PowerWordChill ah I read it wrong, the ETF is supposed to pay out an average of 10% per year over 10 to 20 years of history

@Therapeut No, I'm not aware of an ETF on something like that, and it probably wouldn't work because it would probably be full of a few small caps.

But if that appeals to you, make a cup of coffee, look for a stock screener and pick out such companies, which you can then buy.
I can't imagine that there are too many companies with 10% p.a. div. Div. growth over 10-20 years.
And whether these are good investments is another matter. Because div. growth alone doesn't do you any good if it's paid for out of substance or with debt.

@PowerWordChill so with Visa you would have had 20% div growth over 10 years.

@PowerWordChill Vanguard dividend appreciation (VIG) is not tradable with TR or Ishares div growth (dgro)

@Therapeut and then why don't you buy visas 😅
