Every year again

I have booked a rental car for my summer vacation, so the Sixt share is leaving my portfolio again. See you next year 👋

But wouldn't it be easier to just keep a share? You have to upload the proof of purchase every time and wait until it is activated

@Hotte1909 You have to prove every three months that you still hold the share and wait for confirmation of support. The only thing you would save yourself is the effort of placing the order. But yes, you could also do it that way.

@20fritz02 ok I didn't know that 😉

@20fritz02 That's nonsense. I had to prove it once, then never again. I've held the share for over 3 years
I have already read that customers with preference shares are shown more expensive prices from the outset and then the discount is added - compared to non-shareholder customers, who have a lower price from the outset, but no discount.

Is there something to this?

I've never had to rent a car through Sixt myself.

What do you get as a discount?
@jkb92 Depends on the car, but usually between 15-20%.

I was keeping an eye on this, due to dividends and end up never buying it, is that some kind of benefit from having stocks?

@Tim__72__ is that all over Europe or only in Germany? I’ll look into it, thank you. TIL
