Coffee ETC

I've had my eye on the $COFF (-0.1%) in my eye.

Now with the unfavorable climatic conditions and harvests and rising prices, it would be a good investment.

What do you think?

I find $3CFL better since the price can’t stop to grow

@Max095 You can almost see it as a staple food🙂

@Mark777 That's right. The performance of the leveraged ETF in particular is insane

@Max095 I have always been against leveraged investments, but this is very interesting.
As far as I can tell, you can't lose more than the stake.

@Mark777 Are you buying the ETF? It can quickly go in the other direction 🙈

I will definitely do it...go in with a moderate stake.
By the way, this is an ETC

Is this a display error or has $COFF seriously gained 3000% since 2023?

@Pazi3 Since circulation 1400%

Cocoa in the same way 😅

@Mark777 I probably caught the wrong day. The one from the post has 3000% 😅 is sick after all

@Pazi3 right, that is a display error

Did you even understand the ETC?

Yes, the issuer risk is higher and the stake is not hedged.
The leverage results from bonds.
A short holding period is an advantage here.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

@Mark777 you buy a rolling 4 W index with furtures. Recommend to at least know what cobtango effect is. This means that the price tends to always be lower than the real coffee price. Just don't get the idea to hold something like this for a long time or as a savings plan. Just my amateur opinion 😂

@Papiertiger No, I don't do that, 24 hours as a rule.
Closing out from day to day or rolling loss also causes costs, so you should sell beforehand at an acceptable price.
The synthetic representation of the index is usually worse than the physical one.
But the aim here is to take advantage of the short-term price increase.
Around 4 p.m. is a good entry point, at least that's my feeling based on the chart.
