đ CapsoVision (NASDAQ: CV) $CV
Iâve been following CapsoVision for quite some time and believe that the companyâs story has continued to evolve over the past few months. Whatâs particularly exciting is that some key milestones are no longer just hopes for the futureâtheyâve become a reality.
Hereâs an overview of the key achievements:
â FDA Approval for AI Highlights: On September 25, 2026, CapsoVision received the long-awaited FDA approval for its AI-powered analysis feature. It flags images with potential abnormalities and is designed to help doctors review capsule endoscopy images more efficiently.
đ International AI Launch: AI Highlights has already been launched in the EU and other international markets. With FDA approval, the path is now clear for its commercial launch in the U.S.
đ Revenue Growth: In the second quarter of 2026, revenue rose by approximately 10% to $3.64 million. At the same time, sales of CapsoCam Plus capsules increased by 13% compared to the same quarter last year.
đ„ Over 176,000 patients: By the end of June 2026, CapsoCam Plus had been used in more than 176,000 patients. This demonstrates that a commercial business already exists and that the technology is not merely in the development phase.
đŹ Additional products in the pipeline: With CapsoCam Colon, the company is working on a capsule solution for colon imaging and polyp detection. Additionally, CapsoCam UGI is being investigated as part of the development of new diagnostic options for diseases such as pancreatic cancer.
đ November is shaping up to be particularly exciting! The next quarterly earnings report is expected in November. For me, the key question will be whether the progress made so far is already reflected in the financial results: Is revenue continuing to grow? How is the business performing following FDA approval? And is there any new information regarding the U.S. market launch and the product pipeline?
What interests me most about this: CapsoVision combines medical technology, capsule endoscopy, and artificial intelligence. FDA approval is an important stepânow the company must prove that this will lead to stronger revenue growth and, in the long term, a financially viable business.
â ïž Of course, risks remain: The company is reporting losses, needs capital, and potential additional stock issuances could dilute existing shareholders. The new products also still need to clear their next development and approval milestones.
đŹ What are your thoughts on CapsoVision?
Could the combination of capsule endoscopy and AI become a major growth market in the long term? And what will you be paying particular attention to in the upcoming earnings reports?
