Costs! Xtrackers Rate Swap Overnight ETF

$XEON (-0%) A question for the group. I would like to invest my call money in this Etf. At Ing you currently get 1% on the call money.

However, the purchase cost me around €18 in commission and fees, which eats up the credit interest for an eternity. Any suggestions?

Thank you

At Scalable Capital I get 2% for cash holdings. I sold my money market etf for 1 euro in fees. I'm much more flexible that way.

Depending on the amount, you can at least avoid the purchase costs with a savings plan.

Either brokers with lower fees such as SC, SB+, TR or similar or Ing Diba happens to have a government bond ETF close to the money market with a short term and no purchase costs. But then you pay when you sell. Some time ago I reinvested my extra account in a German Gov Bond with 0-1 year maturity due to low interest rates, because it was a promotional ETF without the usual fee. For the liquidation I will either transfer the ETF to SC or have to pay the fee at Diba.

Just open another call money account, as a new customer you can get up to 3% for 3 to 6 months. E.g. BBVA or, if you don't like Spanish deposit protection, Volkswagenbank. Even later, as an existing customer, you can benefit from promotions of more than 2%, i.e. twice as much as with ING. And the accounts can be opened in just a few minutes using Videoident.

I also have my cash reserve at $XEON. However, I am with Scalable, where savings plans are free anyway and there are no order fees for normal purchases at $XEON, as Xtrackers is a premium partner of Scalable. So either really change broker or another call money account.
