Dividend portfolio

I have a portfolio focused in part on dividends and growth, what do you think about adding 10% to the ETF. $JEPQ (-3.32%) ? Very good dividend yield is expected (8-10% per year) and in the US it works great. Give a small percentage of the portfolio to increase that average dividend yield a bit.

LET'S GO FOR THE LONGED FINANCIAL FREEDOM !!!!

Take a look at $JEGP , which is also a covered call strategy, but with a stronger focus on dividend and low volatility stocks.

@llopis110 what do you need the cashflow for?
What is the aim of this investment and what is your time horizon?

@TotallyLost to have a certain passive monthly income and a certain growth in search of financial independence

@llopis110 Do you reinvest this income or do you spend it?

@TotallyLost actually Im reinvesting it

@llopis110 Then you should probably buy a Quality Dividend Growth fund like $GGRG or $FGEQ
Where you have companies with growing cash flow, as a kind of weird option premium strategy
profile image
@TotallyLost Yes, I was thinking about adding $FGEQ , but what would you change about my portfolio to add it and what percentage?
profile image
@TotallyLost Since I would like to have $JEPQ in 8-10% of my portfolio

@llopis110 I get the impression that you don't need income right now, so I wouldn't bet so hard on the dividend.
But if you really need the distributions so you're motivated to keep investing, then scratch $VHYL $JEPQ and $JEGP and go for a Dividend Growth Fund. It's much better in the long run.

Here's a nice article on why you shouldn't bet so much on dividends if you have the time:

@TotallyLost Which dividend growth fund do you recommend?
profile image
@llopis110 $FGEQ or $GGRG but thats only my opinon.
I personaly use $GGRG $XDEQ and $PEH for the quality part in my portfolio

@TotallyLost what do u think about $WQDS ? may be better than $FGEQ or the same? Im thinking to add the first with a 15% of my portfolio. Since you're right, I should add a fund that focuses more on growth than on dividends, such as one of these two. Which do you think is better from your point of view? Or are they quite similar?

@llopis110 $WQDS does not look so hot compared to $FGEQ , i would take $FGEQ any day over $WQDS

Excellent, gives good yields. Can be combined with JEIP, JEPG and WINC to increase cash flow.
