Where did you try it? At $IBKR I would assume that it could work🤔 As far as I know, you can also buy Schwab Equity funds etc. for which there are no documents in accordance with EU regulations.

@All-in-or-nothing Ah, ok. I didn't try it there. I was more 'classic'. ING, Comdirect, HVB and FĂĽrstlich Castell'sche Bank.

@NichtRelevant You will have the same problem with all banks in the EU. So maybe try a broker that operates internationally and only offers brokerage. Trading 212 might also work. However, both brokers are not tax-simple in Germany.
