Since I'm the dividend daddy, I used the reset to increase my position. This is not about performance, but about a reliable, decent dividend. The figures were really not as bad as the 6% setback today suggests.

Well, whether the dividends will really remain reliable for years 🤔

@parlania well, whether the tech sector or $BTC will perform reliably for years 🤔no one knows and for my investment strategy $VZ, the last few years have been stable in terms of profits with low growth and the dividend has been safe and moderately increasing for 20 years. I feel good about the stock

@Dividendenopi I hope you are right. A high dividend yield might be a reason of concern, anyway.

@parlania pay out on profit and free cash flow below 60 percent. So absolutely solid

Nice, I did the same to get to my #vz dividend goal 🥳

Why don't you rename yourself?

@Smudeo Hello lady

$VZ buys Frontier $FNT for 20 billion dollars
This is the 3rd largest acquisition.
This opens up the market for broadband business.
Verizon moves up to Comcast $CMCSA and Charter Communications $CRS
Verizon should profit from this

@Dividendenopi Mine is unfortunately full.....

@Smudeo that could explain the weekly increase of a good 7%. I may be a little late then

What do you mean not so bad? Wasn't it almost a billion short of sales
profile image
@topicswithhead USD 32.8 billion to expected USD 33.1 billion
profile image
@trader64 I read average estimate 33.7 and seem to have misread it. Then it's actually not that bad.
profile image
@topicswithhead hmm, somehow my answer is gone... the misread happened to me too, exactly the expectations were at 33.07 billion 😇😉

Verizon $VZ is on offer as a buy every year. Unfortunately, I also got carried away years ago, rising share prices and dividends are like Christmas falling on Easter. The reality after my purchase was years of minus.... I also invested again at the beginning of the year to halve my equity. Then it went up again, and now? Fear new lows in the share price.
profile image
@Smudeo I also have the lows and highs, which bother me less with my equity, but my focus is still on the almost 7% gross dividend and keeping it stable for as long as possible. You can't expect any price potential, or only relatively manageable in the short term. I simply let them run and keep an eye on them regularly. As long as there are no fundamental changes, it will remain in the portfolio. If your strategy is growth, then look for a favorable time to exit, as the dividends will hopefully reduce your losses
