Sale or withdrawal

$MUV2 (-0.42%) unfortunately had to leave the portfolio today.

The position will be rebuilt from 0 next month.

Now back at 13K in the portfolio. The annual target of 20K is still easily achievable (just by paying in)

The reason for this: The owner of my undeveloped neighboring property recently passed away and his heirs want to sell to me

I'm happy to take that with me and with 36 years until retirement,q I still have all the time in the world 😊

Absolutely sensible decision, by the way. I don't know how big your own property is, but more garden or potential space for the kids is absolutely worth something.

Where can you find undeveloped land for 5k? ;)

@jkbsmn92 6k equity.
Since I already have a home loan
profile image
@Dividenden_Monteur what % of equity do you get a loan for? Does land only cost around 40 k or what?
profile image
@topicswithhead significantly less.
It varies from acquaintance to acquaintance

@HyFive Why do you see dark times for owners? Equalization of burdens?

@user88b8e3cfdd1c4e20 If no one puts a stop to the leftist and socialist dreams in Berlin, home and land owners will soon be able to pay a nice extra tax every year.

I also feel that these are uncertain times, and I wouldn't want to buy any real estate right now.

@user88b8e3cfdd1c4e20 I have observed this in my finances for years: Real estate only makes sense for me if I'm prepared to collect high rents without any qualms of conscience, or if I have children to whom I can leave something. and then there's the fact that the 10-year time limit is currently the subject of much debate. Germany, no thanks. airbnb income and co. are much more lucrative abroad and the returns are easily 2-300% outperforming Germany. lg

@HyFive That's why Airbnb and the like are gradually being banned in Spain, as rents in some cities are now so high that only foreign tourists can afford them... 🤬

@Da_Fischi I share your opinion that this is not cool. From the landlord's point of view: those who have the lowest prices often get into the most trouble. Many guests are disrespectful with furniture and the like, which is really frustrating. Platforms like Airbnb have advantages, but they also have disadvantages. I think the problem is often a lack of education, especially in finance, and government failure because people don't learn how to act responsibly. It's no different in Germany or Turkey. Generally speaking, fate and a lack of education are the main reasons here.

@HyFive I would describe the people here as at least as intelligent as in Germany. However, they have hardly any opportunities to save anything if they can't even make it to the end of the month on their salary (here, for example, there is no child benefit, hardly any tax refunds and very few social benefits, only for the poorest of the poor). I'm not sure what exactly you mean by responsible action and to what extent people could use it to change the situation on the ground. Government failure or corruption plays a bigger role.

@HyFive You're absolutely right. I wouldn't buy anything anymore either, with our current policy everyone who wants to build something up is being punished.

@Alfred16 I've rarely read such nonsense. I have a house and a job and I don't think a Hartzer has it better than me.
