Good morning everyone,

I would like to ask you today how you $READ (Readly) find?

For one thing, do you use it? And if yes, which magazines you find in the category "Economy & Finance" ? (filtered by language ? "german", otherwise the list would be too long) are really worth reading read? You can see them all in the screenshots. Feel free to name English-language magazines as well.

On the other hand, what do you think of the publicly traded company "Readly"?

Are you invested? Do you see opportunities in this subscription/business model?

Readly is now raising its prices considerably. Let's see what effect this will have on subscriber numbers, since there is already a lot of talk about "mass instead of class" in the magazine and newspaper offering...

Looking forward to your assessment

I wish you a nice weekend.

Best regards

Heiko

A company that only digitizes newspapers and magazines? Not for me. 🙅🏻‍♂️

@InvestmentPapa They don't even do that themselves. They just offer it "bundled". 😂👍

@ReichDurchSparen I wanted to get to the point briefly and succinctly. That only makes things worse. I once had an eternal discussion about this with a hardcore fan. It was like reinventing the wheel. 🤦🏻‍♂️

@InvestmentPapa Well... that's not it. There aren't many other major subscription services of this kind.

It's great the way you wrote it. 👍

And I think that's the case. Don't know 100%

I use Readly and my subscription will run until death or insolvency (of readly 😅) divorces us. I love magazines and I have a whole station newsstand for 10 € a month. I am also invested and have no doubt that readly will be profitable in a few years. But I'm afraid that readly will be swallowed by a big company before then and I won't see my initial price again 🤔 A risk I didn't take into account when I made my investment. But if readly develops the way I think, the price will be somewhere between 50 and 100 € in 20 years, even if digital magazines should remain a niche product, it is a growing market with a scalable business model. What I would find cool is if readly also offered magazines on its platform that are not included in the subscription, and you could then buy them normally, such as Capital. In the financial category, I really like reading "einfach Börse" and "extra etf".
