Awesome, the first portfolio with over 1 million that I've seen on Getquin so far. That motivates you right away🤩

I can't get it to load! Probably because of the size! 😂 Top! 👍

@Ricobuc Unfortunately it's Getquin's fault, they often have problems with this.

Very cool. I wish you all the best for the future. Don't forget to be human and think of your family and friends too! ✌🏻

The portfolio size is cool 🚀 You can also move a lot with a lot of volume.
But the performance doesn't blow me away... 3 years 18%, TTWROR under 2%, but in the short period since 2021 you may of course have had a few unfortunate moves.
Back the right horses now, then you can do something with the sum...👍

@TomTurboInvest Unfortunately, Getquin's performance calculation is pretty broken for me. According to Parquet and Finanzfluss copilot (and my calculations) I have beaten the S&P500 on a time-weighted return.
profile image
@AlexSch It looks like your 2022 year was brutal. If it was anything like the one depicted in GQ, then I would recommend you think about risk management. But I don't want to presume that...
profile image
@TomTurboInvest But it's not. That's because I made a lot of deposits at the time and something wasn't quite right with the tracking. In general, I keep finding transactions here that never existed.
@AlexSch Getquin works flawlessly if you have entered/imported everything correctly. You should check this again, otherwise a public analysis here makes no real sense... Unless you just want to hear about your portfolio composition, that there is apparently no real investment strategy behind it (core-satellite ? If so, core and satellite each with which planned asset allocation? Short-term gambling portfolio or long-term buy & hold?)

I don't want to discourage you in your investments, but if you have so much cash (over half a million) left over from your entrepreneurial activities to invest, you might want to take a look at Dr. Andreas Beck's GPO and the financial investment strategy behind it. You will thank me in retrospect in 10 years' time! Because with the GPO strategy you would have doubled everything to 2 million... ;-)

@AlexBloch With Getquin (or the interfaces behind it) not everything runs smoothly. I took a look at my real time-weighted return and compared it manually + with other tools with the time-weighted return of an SPX, NDX and MSCI World, all three of which I beat.

There is nothing to roast. Very nicely broken down. Probs from my side 👍🏽 Did you win the lottery, daytrade or where did you go from 130k to 450k overnight? 😂

Very nice. Did you also get there with shares or did you earn well? Since 2021 that would be sporty, so I assume you got the money somehow else.

@Investor_in_Jogginghose A little bit of both ;)

You have my heartfelt congratulations! Lg

But the million doesn't come from investments alone, does it? Because in May 2022 of all months (= the worst ever for shares AND bonds) you got €300,000 on top of €100,000 in one fell swoop. Inheritance or savings? This makes it difficult to properly evaluate the portfolio to see whether you have invested in the right assets....

@AlexBloch The S&P500 also outperformed in terms of return.
@AlexSch What makes you say that? Well, according to the Getquin performance indicator, you have had an average return of 3.92% p.a. since you started your portfolio. The S&P500 had made a total gain of 50% in this period, i.e. an average of at least 2 digits p.a. Sounds like a bit more... ;-)
profile image
@AlexBloch As I said, Getquin records some things completely wrong, often transactions appear that I have never made, etc. The return is also completely wrong with getquin. When I update Flatex, even a 100 million position in bonds appears that I (unfortunately) do not own.

Too many small positions 😂😜

@Tono and too much gambling around, that's definitely true. But I'm also interested in the fun factor.

@AlexSch was more of a little joke from me 😅

@AlexSch You don't have to justify the number of items. Who dictates what is too much or too little? YouTubers? Or banks, that they earn on every sale and new purchase? I also have more than 100 stocks, but I'm less concerned with the numbers. Just broadly diversified, there are always new interesting opportunities.
Congratulations and thank you! ✨
1
@Komar Do you really consider "more than 100 stocks" (individual shares instead of ETFs?) to be "broadly diversified"? You can speak of broadly diversified if you have several thousand company shares distributed worldwide, including small caps. Everything else is risky gambling...
profile image
@AlexBloch For me, a broad spread is already given from 7-20 shares. After that, you hardly have any currency appreciation.
@AlexSch Then take a look at the financial findings, preferably the books by Dr. Gerd Kommer.
profile image
@AlexBloch Just do the math, with 20 shares a total loss of one share with the same weighting is only 5%, if you can't stand it, ask Olaf about his savings account.
Diversification is also just a hedge against incompetence or ignorance (if we're not talking about Wirecard, which falsifies its balance sheets).
profile image
@Komar I write it down for myself.
@AlexBloch I wouldn't call it gambling. If I wasn't always buying exciting new stocks, I wouldn't have SMCI or Modine Manufakturing, which have soared within a short space of time and will hopefully continue to do so. It's simply fun.

Absolute madness. You can stop working😂

@Bluenuuk 1 million is not enough at the back and front

@Therapeut pay yourself 0.04% or 40k a year, that's 2500 net a month for an infinite amount of time, I'd say if you walk dogs once a week, etc. you can live comfortably.
profile image
@Leoww037 you mean 4%.
With a 4% withdrawal, your assets get smaller and smaller every year and no longer grow exponentially. It then depends on how old you are and how long you still need the money.
2
@Therapeut well, if one were to assume an average annual increase in value of 6.5% on the portfolio over all years (msci world has historically increased by approx. 8.5% per year, sp500 10%) -> with 2.5% inflation-adjusted, one arrives at 4% withdrawal without losses

Of course an ideal model, in times of crisis you should go for a walk in 2 rounds

It depends on how you live. But I really respect you.

Not bad. I would sell Tesla and Realty Income
p.s. By the way, you only tracked €44(!) in trading costs for €880,000 of invested capital... I bet you have to deduct a lot more from your total return 😉.

I don't know now...
You can also add a very relaxed Getquin. My experience has been that those who have a lot don't like to say it and those who don't like to blow it up for self-promotion, which is kind of sad if you just have to rub it in other people's faces

Mega, congratulations! For me the share of crypto would be too high and also the share of individual actions too high. If you have already bought bonds, why not increase this share nube a few individual actions and also reduce crypto.

Great depot. It would be too tech-heavy for me - but you did more right than I did :-)
Respect and congratulations. This is the first time I've seen 1Mio in RL, even if it's not mine. How long will it take to get there? And.....s these active or pure passive investments?
