A Boeing ($BA (-1.57%)) 757from United Airlines ($UAL (-5.83%)) during takeoff from Los Angeles International Airport a wheel. The flight UA1001 returned safely to LAX. United Airlines and the FAA are investigating the incident. This is the second wheel loss of a United aircraft in 2024following a similar incident in March with a Boeing 777.
