And what does that mean for people who don't lead crusades?

@Yoshika Crusades? That's getting better and better.
I would guess something like fortis fortuna adiuvat.

Normal small-cap thread in the year of our Lord 1480.
The price target is later handed down on parchment.

What does the oracle say about the small copper mine in the east?

@Yoshika Hm... Would you rather shoot a random small cap etf than ruin me with some exotic rare earth BS?
I'm almost inclined to agree with you and just realized that a crystal ball would be quite helpful with this investment number 🔮.
But I think I'd rather steamroll the whole post completely. I'm still dancing at far too many weddings at the moment anyway.
And what was actually going on in 1480 again... The fall of Constantinople?

@Yoshika Well, they should have jumped on the bandwagon back then. They would probably have been fine today. But... Did trains even exist at that time?
I'll meditate on that over a clove tea at the next opportunity.

Incidentally, the market finally lost touch with the physical nutmeg at that time.

And no. I can tell you that there were no trains back then. The pepper trade was still carried across the seas by sailors and fools in a very strange and honorable way.

@Yoshika Those were the days. Without a net and a false bottom 🛶.
And as for the nutmeg... I've heard of it. Fortunately, the greed of the markets makes the whole thing predictable, at least to a certain extent.
