You can't be serious, right? Is this what sound estate management looks like to you?

I can only agree with Busch:
“But woe, woe, woe!
When I look toward the end!!”

Or are you just trying to troll all of us here? 😬

@Epi These are side projects that each received €2,500; the rest will be divided up further once the money is available.

@Spaarcula Even so... These stocks are currently all the rage. It’s completely unclear whether any of them will survive the next crisis.

For all I care, set up a play-money portfolio with 5% of your total investment—that’s about 30k of your share. It doesn’t matter if that money is gambled away in two years. The remaining 95% belongs in a balanced B&H portfolio (ACWI, gold, bonds, commodities, some BTC).
Thinking you’re smarter than the market is one of the common mistakes young investors make. They all learn the hard way—or the smart way. Be smart.

@Epi Yes, I'm aware of that and I understand. The plan is to allocate 5% to gold and 75% to the Gerd Kommer Multifactor fund, based on its investment strategies.

@Spaarcula The Kommer ETF costs 0.45% per year. If you simply replicate it https://extraetf.com/de/etf-portfolio/gerd-kommer-capital-100-0-portfolio?tab=overview, it will cost you 0.25% per year. A 0.2% difference on 1 million is 20,000€. So...

@Epi I think he's Gerd Kommer's son. Or his grandson. On his father's side, of course.

@Epi Why so friendly?

@Epi I totally agree with you.
Just a tiny correction —> 2,000 euros.
So, given his approach, it's negligible… 💩

@Olli68 That's definitely me. All of it. Our family is really messed up.

@Epi If you look at his portfolio, the five positions are listed at around 65k. This guy really doesn't seem legitimate 👶

So you made these FOMO decisions within just a few minutes of the first tokens becoming available?
Please relax and take seriously the advice from people on this forum who have large six-figure fortunes or more.
At 19, you don’t know how much effort it takes to save up 50k.
I think your grandpa worked hard for that. That deserves a little appreciation.
Take care of yourself. I wish you all the best.
If you’re making fools of us here, I personally don’t care. But I’ll still wish you the best 👍🏼

@Wealth-Accelerator Sure, I totally understand and can relate. As I mentioned earlier, the stocks I bought were purchased at just €2,500 each, and by the end of the week, 75% of the money will go into an ETF, a bit of gold, and an overnight rate swap. The rest will be allocated to companies that my father and I consider to be good investments and generally interesting. Please don’t take these comments the wrong way.
Best regards ✌🏻

@Wealth-Accelerator I'm here to fool people. I'd think it was pretty uncool if he stole my job.

@DonkeyInvestor You're telling me that NOW?!?!?
And here I am, having followed every single piece of your advice to the letter for months, just in the quiet hope of finally hearing you say, "Way to go!" 😭
My heart is breaking ❤️‍🩹

I hope you're keeping this in a separate investment account and not mixing it with your personal assets.

@Metis But on Getquin, it's tracked like this
••
profile image
@Spaarcula You don't have to display all the portfolios in the aggregated portfolio—you know that, right?
••
@Metis What do you think?
••
profile image
@Spaarcula Here on getquin, you can consolidate various brokerage accounts from different brokerage firms into a single view. But you don’t have to.

For example, I have one brokerage account with ING and one with Trade Republic, which I display together (i.e., aggregated) here for analysis.

However, I have additional brokerage accounts at ING—one for my father, which he’ll receive when he retires, and one for an investment in a money market ETF, so that it’s separate from the rest of my securities. These are also linked here in getquin, but I haven’t explicitly included them in the aggregated portfolio.
•

•
@Metis Oh, okay, yeah, I see what you mean, but I'll just put them all together—then I can click on each one to see what's there.
••
profile image
@Spaarcula However, if you ever wanted to share your portfolio here, that might lead to skewed feedback.
•
1
•
@Metis Yeah, that makes sense, and it's a good point, too.
••
profile image
@Metis I would also prefer it if he mixed it with my personal assets

@DonkeyInvestor With clickbait headlines? 🫠

I feel sorry for your family. Is this some kind of mission to burn money?

In my opinion, the way you're handling your family's money is absolutely reckless, but well, at the end of the day, that's something you have to figure out for yourself.

You only get one chance! Please think carefully about what you're doing. There's no rush.

If you care about your family: Sell everything and immediately shift your investments to $IWDA. I wouldn't take on a bigger risk than the MSCI World.

@asset_sage_smmad If people actually read my posts, they'd know that 75% goes into a global ETF, 1% is held in cash, and just under 5% goes into gold—but they don't, do they? 🙄.
••
profile image
@Spaarcula It would have been way too easy to cover everything in just one post. 🤣
•

•
@Metis That's actually true, yes, but I'll post my portfolio on Friday once everything's ready, and I'm looking forward to reading the comments.

So you want to put 75% into an ETF, just under 5% into gold, and keep 1% in cash! So far, so good—but what happens to the remaining just under 20% of the family’s assets?

Are you planning to gamble with that on the stock market? If someone in my family—who doesn’t really know anything about the stock market—were to do that with the family fortune, all hell would break loose.
•

•
@Aktienneuling-1979 So the remaining 20% goes into stocks (healthcare, storage, energy (Storm/gas stations), banking, utilities, etc.). Part of it is invested in dividend-paying stocks so that my grandparents have a little more retirement income and we can afford a family vacation every year.
••
profile image
@Spaarcula Dividend stocks, so your grandparents can have a little more retirement income? Um, isn't 3 million enough for your grandparents to live on?

Don't be mad at me, but with your prior knowledge/basic understanding and your approach, this project is doomed to fail.
••

That must be ragebait.

You can only hope that you’ve also thought about WHAT IF...

You should always assume the worst-case scenario, and it’s never a good idea to gamble with other people’s money...

Since the money is now invested, I’d be interested to know WHAT IF something happens to you... Have you filled out all the forms so everyone gets their money...

WHAT IF someone wants their money back for whatever reason and there’s a market crash right then... What’s the plan in that case?

Hope everything goes well... That’s a pretty big burden you’re carrying there...

So what's your take on these stocks? Rocket Lab is great, of course. The ETF looks pretty good in terms of its allocation. Total Energies is a bit stale. Crowdstrike is way too expensive. Symbotic is a disaster.
