Short on Tesla

Given the figures, the outlook and the current valuation, I simply had to go short. Today's 9% could be just the beginning. Otherwise I was just unlucky. Chart-technically already in a short-term downtrend which could now be reinforced by the figures. I see a drawdown of well, actually 50%, which won't happen because Tesla is Tesla. Realistically, however, 15% is still possible in the short term from the current point.

I'm not afraid of almost any trade. But betting against $TSLA and against $PLTR is absolutely courageous. As I'm currently in the other bet and have bet on a 2-month sideways movement at $PLTR, I don't want to overstretch my risk. But good luck to you.

@Multibagger yes, I've paid the price for both of them before 😉 normally I rarely short stocks anyway because my hit rate there is more like 15% long I'm somehow better at it 😀

@Hotte1909 I think it can go up to 280$. That's when Elon Musk will come up with another air number.

Hello, you just can't get rid of me 😅 Have you actually entered United Health in any direction yet? I haven't executed my long yet, but I'm almost certainly only a few moments away from doing so. The active downtrend worries me though 🙈

@Multibagger Ui exciting, what did you buy there?

@Klein-Anleger1 Yes, I went in earlier. Long, of course. You know GV8CQQ. I got it for €2.80.

@Multibagger am now also in 🫣🤝
@Multibagger Good luck, you need it.

@Peka This is the easiest trade in a long time. $UNH has reached the lower limit of the trading range at 280$. I assume that it will hold and that we will move back towards $300 to $325, which is the upper end of the range. If the share closes below 275$ I would sell.

Tesla has refilled the balloon of hot air with robotics, as the cars are slipping 🙈

@GeldGenie But even then, nothing really comes of it. I mean, I don't understand Tesla anyway and it could well be that it goes through the roof tomorrow, but from a purely theoretical point of view it should actually go downhill.

1) you don't know if anything will come of it
2) you don't understand Tesla anyway
3) they may go through the roof tomorrow
4) but theoretically it should go downhill

When will the realization happen?

@Ph1l1pp Tesla just does Tesla things. There is bad news/the share goes up. I've been trading long enough and sometimes I haven't eaten wisdom with a spoon, but I believe that I always hit my points very well. You can sometimes take a trade with more risk. Of course there could be a countermovement at Tesla. But it can also continue to go downhill.
If robotics is just as efficient as the Robi cabs, then good night Tesla

@Hotte1909 It can go up, but it can also go down. That's why I love Getquin

I would rather always take the novo or hims shorts 🙈 at tesla it's always a 50 50 ++++ they really have a lot of fanatics
profile image
@MEMO1993 absolutely right. But every now and then you can also make a slightly riskier trade. And with a small stake. The money is from the profit of my cabbage trade, so...

Can you explain what you've bought now? ☺️😉🙈😀

That's what I thought. I was more interested in the exact explanation. I'm asking for a friend 🤭😉
The strike price is USD 360 and it expires on 20.03.2026.
What can you gain or lose?
For example, with a price of USD 350 or USD 370 on the key date? What does the leverage of 5.9 mean?
profile image
@Horstiiii at 370$ the bill is worthless because it is higher than the strike price. At 350$ it has a value of 1$ per bill. The leverage means that if the share falls by 1%, the bill gains 5.9%, and vice versa. However, this is not so easy with OS, as other factors such as volatility, premium etc. play a role compared to turbo bills with an unlimited term.
