@userc811746a6d9041b6 They like to sell cheap slimming injections because patients naturally want to pay as little as possible for them or cannot afford the expensive branded product. In addition, the cheap weight loss injections are personalized, which leads to fewer side effects and a measurably higher adaptation of the drug by the patient. The personalized semaglutide is therefore the better product in pretty much every respect. Of course, this is not good for Novo if cheaper and better alternatives to Wegovy are sold. That's why they're so desperate. But for Hims and their patients, it makes sense to use the personalized semaglutide.
To be honest, I find the legal situation somewhat critical, as Novo had the development costs and Hims can now simply dust them off. But Hims has lawyers and contacts with the FDA. It will all work out legally.
