Drones provider watchlist

Since I don't want to bet on a single stock in the sector (because of the fast innovation cycles), I'm currently thinking about building up a kind of "Etf" to increase the chance of having a winner in the portfolio.

And the small cap experts, @Multibagger
@Tenbagger2024
@Dividenden_Monteur which broker can you recommend that has all the small caps but not such extreme trading costs?

$DRO (-5.02%) must have something to fight against

$AVAV I would also include it.
$KTOS also has drones.
Also $ESLT
$KIT is a contract manufacturer for drones.
You can find underwater drones at $PNG and $NORBT
And Airbus is also in the business

@Tenbagger2024 It may then make sense to weight by market cap

@Tenbagger2024 What do you think of $KOG?

@Shrimpman
I think Kongsberg is great, nice growth.
But already too well run and highly valued

@Tenbagger2024 I have a thought about this. Wouldn't it also make sense to look at companies that produce key technologies for drone production? And, which could also be an interesting approach. Companies that are active in defense. What do you think?

$VSAT $SAF $HON $MERCURY $CW $HXL

@Bidax
You can do that, but then I would think of a few more companies.
And if there isn't that much capital available for the ETF, the position could end up being very small.
Another problem I see is that many defense stocks have already done very well.
And their valuation is no longer favorable.
That's why I don't know how much potential there still is here and whether there won't even be corrections in the near future.

@Tenbagger2024 That's right. The few I mentioned were just the tip of the iceberg. If you search properly, you'll find a lot. It was more of an idea than me actually looking at the companies in detail.

@Bidax
This will then be more of a defense and aerospace ETF

Good approach, I'm thinking about copying it 🤩

I haven't looked to see if they are all tradable at TR, but if so, that would certainly be a favorable option

@Multibagger so in TR they are all tradable
profile image
@Shem_sen Do you happen to know whether they are eligible for savings plans? Or is that only possible for larger shares?
profile image
@Shrimpman all except Zena tech are savings plan capable 🫡

Most via Scalabe, would still have Cap Trader where I can buy on the home exchange, but I have to change money into the currency first and the broker is not tax-simple.

Funny idea, I'm curious to see how it goes if you implement it. Feel free to give updates 👌
