I'm also considering going in, but I don't understand why they went down in the first place. Apart from that I find the r&d costs very high, freight is operationally negative and not growing and the robotaxis will not always stay on uber. At least I don't think everyone will order via uber

@topicswithhead The use of the network at $UBER for the Robotaxis alone is already a gain and, in my opinion, an extreme moat. Setting up and publicizing something like this in every country takes time and money. Existing cooperations will not be dropped so easily and there will probably still be some players in autonomous driving who want to use the network, also for delivery services etc . I could also imagine that, depending on demand, it would also offer a comparison platform for autonomous driving from several providers and also provide driving data. Furthermore, private individuals who make their vehicles available and earn money with them while they don't need the vehicle. There is a lot of imagination here and enormous possibilities in every direction ✌️

@topicswithhead They went down because of the prospects, I see much more opportunities than risks here and the valuation is really not expensive for a tech company.

Interesting company and extremely well positioned with its various business models. On closer inspection, however, I think the gross margin is a little too low for a "tech company". That's why I see scaling as difficult, so for me it's currently not a buy

@SathosiRuffy Still not expensive in terms of valuation and they continue to increase the margin. We'll see, I like the potential and the risk/reward ratio.

@SathosiRuffy I believe that $UBER, like airbnb, could increase margins at any time with its platform model if it came down to it.

@fund_commander123 I agree, I like $UBER, it works well, I know my way around it and the prices are absolutely fine. even with cheaper prices I don't go to $LYFT. In the Emirates, a $UBER driver told me to try $LYFT, they are currently running a promotion and are cheaper. I don't care if I pay 2-3 euros less. Then I don't need to drive to $UBER 😄

@fund_commander123 I don't think it's that simple, but in the medium term there is certainly still a lot possible. I think that robotaxis could become the main risk. But it could also offer opportunities
