@Dedp00l No idea. For years, I saved normally in a money market account, where interest rates were still good. Between 2010 and 2015.
Then, in 2017, I bought an apartment at a good price with a 1.5% interest rate. The loan amount was 100k. It was rented out until 2020.
After the tenants moved out in 2020, I renovated it and sold it in 2022 for 80k plus net, despite the renovation work done by skilled tradespeople.
The remaining debt was still around 30k, which had to be paid off with the proceeds from the sale.
At the end of 2023, I then bought the ETF in three larger and a few smaller installments for a total of around 210k. That’s it. It’s just been running ever since.
